What are your guys thoughts, it says not to fill out an application if you have already done so unless it is with another partner. So do you think that if you apply again with a different partner they won't consider your old application and only consider your new one, or do you think they will consider both applications. I applied for season 17 with my brother I am thinking of applying for season 19 with my dad, or do you think I will have better luck applying with my mom? Thanks for the tips,

In my COMPLETELY NON-EXPERT opinion, and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe they say that if you submit a new application with a different partner, they will disregard your first one and only consider your second one.

As far as who to apply with, do what you think is right. Make a good video that truly shows off your unique personalities.

In my opinion they are not looking anymore for strong Alpha male teams, unless they have an interesting story. So if you and your dad can really reveal your feelings, your differences etc, in the video go ahead. But even if you apply with your mom you need a strong video.

It’s happening between Noon and 5pm. And, yes, you’ll have to make the long drive to Durant, Oklahoma to meet with the producers. Get used to the traveling!
How far would you go to get on TV? Literally, because they’re having an audition for The Amazing Race tomorrow, but it will require a road trip. The producers for The Amazing Race will be at Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma tomorrow from noon to 5pm so find your partner & get your applications at CBSDFW.com.

And listen, if you can’t make a trip to Oklahoma without a fight, you might want to rethink this. Everyone else should get their tickets to Jack’s Brew Ha Ha on New Year’s Eve. Norm MacDonald is headlining with Tom Green & Iliza Shlesinger, which might not be as good as getting lost in Phuket with your wife. Actually, it’s probably much better.

Ok, so I saw the application and its for TAR 19 but the eligibility form is for TAR 17 I think.......so are those dates still valid? Will they post a new eligibility form? My mom and I are thinking about applying and we never have applied for anything like this but we think we would do well and it would be a lot of fun obviously so any helpful hints or tips?

Awesome! Thanks for all the help. Ok more questions, so the applications are due January 5th, after you submit everything they go through them and then make cuts and if you get a call or something then you go and meet them for an in person interview? Is this just one location or multiple across the country? I saw the list of cities on the eligibility form and Atlanta is the closest one to me so would that be the location we would travel to? Also, my mom and I would be quite the combo but if not my mom my sister would definitely be good as well. Which combo do you guys think has the best chance? And for the application video do we just get creative and do whatever we want as long as it fulfills the requirements? I really want to give it a shot so hopefully we can get on this and start getting our app together.

The first thing you need to do is sit down and read and study every word of the application. I am convinced that part of the reason for some of the steps is to to test your ability to follow instructions...as in read the clue.

For instance, if you apply Jan 5...you will have missed the deadline.

And while I have NOTHING to do with casting, I believe they are really not interested in what kind of filmmaker you are...they want to see what makes you and your partner special...why you would be good TV. Feature your relationship.
