05.28.2009 "BIG BROTHER" TO PREMIERE THURSDAY, JULY 9 ON THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

BIG BROTHER will return for its 11th installment on Thursday, July 9 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network. Following the premiere, BIG BROTHER will be broadcast three nights weekly, beginning Sunday, July 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), Tuesday, July 14 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, beginning Thursday, July 16 (8:00–9:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. One by one, the Houseguests will vote each other out of the house. At the end of three months, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the Grand Prize of $500,000.

BIG BROTHER is executive produced by Emmy Award winner Allison Grodner and Rich Meehan, in association with Endemol U.S.A.

I think there is going to be 13 house guests again (hopefully with 1 more girl than guy).

There are 10 evictions if you count the Thursdays leading up to the finale and the Tuesday that the F4 is usually evicted at. Then, if you add a FF episode, that makes 11 evictions.

(unless there is a double eviction week, which could be possible. . . I'm just speculating)

hey all!!

BB returning is 5 weeks...I don't know whether to be excited or cry

I am enjoying a bit of a TV break since most of my other shows have ended...I always think of summer as a light tv time...until I remember BB is 24/7

11 sounds like a lucky number, right??!!
