Season 6 will always be my favorite!

And I loved Aaron/Hayden. Probably my favorite TAR team ever. He was so chill and funny, and she was so crazy!

But even though she could be really annoying, I loved her competitive side and how she'd regret being a bitch and apologize. Also, they were both pretty competent racers most of the time. It should have been between them and Jon/Kris at the end. I can't believe Adam and Rebecca got into the Final 3 because Aaron and Hayden picked up the cab from hell in China.

Anyway, LOVE this season. Great teams all around. Plus, the CLASSIC swim race in the pool!

Hi-Fi,
I think you need to watch the Xian ending of AR6 ep. 11 again. Start with the time on Mt. Hua where the locks Roadblock is happening. Watch Kris and Kendra finish and disappear. That leaves Hayden and Rebecca to find the correct lock. As the closing time (7pm) forced by the last transportation off the mountain nears, Aaron/Hayden make a strategic move and take the 4 hour penalty. By incredible luck, in the last minute or so before closing, Rebecca's lock turns open. That means they avoid the 4 hour penalty and there is no way they can reasonably lose. all of the chase scenes in Xian were superfluous because unless Adam/Rebecca got into a very serious taxi accident or died en route, they were not going to finish 4 hours after Hayden/Aaron. If fact they finished only a minute or two after.

I loved Lori & Bolo. Something about them drew me to this team. They were funny and obviously knew that this dynamic worked for them. Although they did divorce down the line.

Hey, apskip!

I meant before the roadblock, Hayden and Aaron started the leg in first and the only reason they got at the Mountain in last for the locks Roadblock was because their cab got them lost. They lost a HUGE ammount of time in the cab. I mean, Kris and Jon were already finished with their roadblock and so were Freddy and Kendra, I think, when they got there. So they left de detour in first but arrived at the roadblack in last. But yeah, Rebecca was really lucky and Hayden was already in Meltdown mode when they got to the Roadblock, which didn't really help.

But if you watch that episode again,  you'll see just how long Rebecca was trying to find the correct lock.  Rebecca was at least looking for 4 hours or even more than that.  So really Rebecca had been looking for longer than Haydon, and had bad luck.  It was the cab's falt though that Haydon and Aaron were behind.

Rebecca should have just chuck Adam on Leg 1 and still do well all the way to the final three. :res:

That's pretty true! She would have done a whole lot better as a one-person team! She was also the best soup-eater on Leg 6 besides Gus!

Too much fighting... :o

They may have fought a lot but I sure did end up liking Bolo a lot.  I felt he grew a lot as a person throughout the race.  Lori?, well.....

I remember the previews clearly showing Lori and Bolo were the ones to be eliminated.  But I tried to convince myself that the previews were just a trick.  During the airing of the episode, I did something I normally didn't do, visit this site.  A certain mod was kind enough to give me info if I wanted it http://forum.realityfanforum.com/index.php/topic,4214.msg52883.html#msg52883

Oh, by the way, look at the date of the post in the link.  It was 4 years ago today.  It seems a lot longer ago.

haha I feel so old now Pedaler   :kuss: , cool that some of the screen caps still exist!
And yeah, Lori and Bolo grew on a lot of us, after all they admitted that arguing was their way of communication.

Happy 4th Anniversary TAR 6 :cheer:

haha I feel so old now Pedaler   :kuss: ,

You're so funny.   I don't think so.   :funny:

I read up thread about the Early Show hyping the start of the season.  That was so great.  I tried to view those Harry and Dave vids again but those CBS web monkeys wouldn't let me.  http://www.cbsnews.com/elements/2004/11/19/earlyshow/videoarchive656660.shtml

For those interested, here's part two of the three part series. http://www.comcast.net/tv/video/24467623/harrydavebareallonamazingrace/

Outstanding smiley, GeorgiaPeach.  You have been a great partner to Puddin.  Back in the day, she carried the load all by herself.  Because of that, I always started  a Puddin appreciation thread at the end of every season.  I know she has had a lot help over the years but she is by far the number one reason for the continued growth and success of RFF.

Thanks for the invite but I'm going to stay spoiler free again.  I will try to post more in the other threads if there are more WOW episodes.  That is the thing I miss most about the Amazing Race, times that I go WOW when watching the show.  Last season, I was only WOWED in Bolivia.

I hope all of the detectives have a great season.

  just thought I would share:

Rage Before Beauty: Reality TV's 19 Biggest Blowups

JONATHAN SHOVES VICTORIA ON THE AMAZING RACE

The relationship between Season 6's bickering couple was strained even further when Jonathan shoved Victoria after her decision to carry his backpack — a move that slowed them down — cost them the first place slot that week. The borderline domestic abuse spawned much media criticism, which led the couple to appear on Dr. Phil to improve their marriage. Jury's still out on the state of their relationship, but they might need more anger management: Jonathan and Victoria both attacked reality star Jonny Fairplay and Joe Rogan during an episode of Fear Factor.
