I just got done watching the finale and it was such a beautiful ending that it brought tears to my eyes, I'm such a DORK!  :cmas13
I found myself not wanting Frank to win afterall with all his cockiness, I guess when I first watched it I didn't notice because of my love for Margarita. Truly a beautiful ending afterall :jam:

I really can't recall why I wanted Frank and Margarita to win? I think they were my early favs plus I felt they really could use the money and thought if they won it might repair their relationship. So does anyone know if they are together now?
Also, does anyone know off the top of their head what music played while Rob & Brennan ran to the final mat?

I believe they are not together, I think both remarried...

I think the finish line song during season 1 is 'Now We Are Free' by 'Enya' which was also featured in the Gladiator Soundtrack.

I have a confession.

I loved Paul and Amie.

Because Amie was ridiculously competitive and Paul was just a drag along.

Loved the dynamic between them.

And Amie reminds me of me.

I found these parts to be particularly interesting:

1. the Tunis airport scene where the Guidos attempt to block Nancy/Emily from reaching the plane
2. the way task sequencing allowed Frank/Margarita and Rob/Brennan to build a 4/5 hour lead over Ken/Gerard and a 7/8 hour lead over the Guidos into a 24 hour lead over both after leaving Krabi until they flew to Beijing
3. the Guidos beating Kwevin/Drew in a taxi battle going to the pit stop in Beijing

don't you mean Kevin and Drew?
The story so far:
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move

I just really got into TAR, and also just found this forum. Yes, I am behind in the times!  :-[

I absolutely love season 1. I started watching TAR at the end of all-stars, but didn't realize how much I love this show until this last season. So far, season 1 is my favorite, although I could do without all the LENEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! It was like nails on a chalkboard.

I was surprised to learn Paul was in the TLC video Waterfalls. I knew he looked familiar! I think he has also been in other things, too.

Also, I think I am one of the only people who liked Frank and Margarita. I thought he was hysterical, and Margarita handled him so well!

By far the best team though was Kevin and Drew for their humor!

So far I like 1, 2,3,4, from rewatching them, not loving 5 which I think I'm on EP9. I guess me fav one of all was 7, the Romber thing and the cast, I LOVED them and 9 too, loved BJ & Tyler as well as the cast.
I'm pretty sure I loved season 6 too but have to re watch to be sure, thats if I ever get thru season 5

That's what it seemed like to me, except that I didn't like season 4 either.  All of the other seasons I like.  The most entertaining part of season 5 was Egypt for me.

I found Amie to be even more unbearable than Flo. Her constant crying just made it more difficult to watch the first half of the season.

One of the funniest moments, imho.  Not Kevin,  Not Drew.  Keep an eye (ear) on the local who offers his English skills.

I hope I got the embed correct.  See my screen name. :duno:

I didnt even watch the clip and I knew what it was and started laughing........it was the guy helping them buy train tickets in India.......in ENGLISH......that is still funny as heck.

That is one of TAR's all time classic lines!!!!
