There's still an unknown team in the F4. I just wonder why we don't have much Lakisha and Jennifer news.

I was just about to suggest the same thing.  Movies seem to be connected with most the locations so far:

1A Golden Eye
1B On Her Majesty's Secret Service
2.  The Sound of Music
3.  Dracula
4.  Doctor Zhivago
5.  The Lives of the Bengal Lancers
     or
     Slumdog Millionaire
6.
7.
8.
9.
10. The Last Emperor
11. Hawaii

Just a coincidence? Who knows

TAR to premiere in Romania? IN Romanian...

http://www.cotidianul.ro/amazing_race_a_filmat_in_premiera_in_romania-71475.html

Taken from the spoilers I assume ..

64,000 miles?  I think the translator converted 40,000 miles into 64,000 kilometers but still labeled it miles..

What about the Heidi movies? They were filmed in Switzerland. Isn't there one where Heidi's friend Peter the goatherder carries the cheese from the mountain into the city? Can we dare to hope there might be some yodeling!?!?!?

It's just a shame they didn't save Borat in Kazakhstan for this season then :res:

Instead of cow suits, we could have seen Dallas and co dressed up in a little lime green over the shoulder outfit :-[

That would be Kanchanaburi rather than Puket and Bangkok though wouldn't it?

You know, I'm pretty sure you could come up with a list of movies for every season, though, so I wouldn't bet that this season is based on movies.

Belle Book, I don't hate asians, but I am just afraid they will be too Nick & Starr-ish, and I also want to wipe the Spanglers from my memory just like you, Ashe.
Disliked them for the same reasons as I did, I wager, Hooky?

reposting these here so they don't get buried

The Amazing Race 14 Tammy & Victor promo

Gee, I hope they didn't inadvertently give away the F3 by so far having them be the only three teams with their own promos.

Ready for my list with spoilers taken into account? (Revised!)

11: Steve & Linda (no evidence beyond leg one)
10: Mel & Mike (guess)
9: Amanda & Kris (I just feel an early elimination from them, for some reason) (guess)
8: LaKisha & Jennifer (guess)
7: Brad & Victoria (guess)
6: Christie & Jodi (guess)
5: Margaret & Luke (guess)
4: Preston & Jennifer (orange was spotted)
3: Mark & Michael
2: Cara & Jaime
1: Victor & Tammy

Belle Book, I don't hate asians, but I am just afraid they will be too Nick & Starr-ish, and I also want to wipe the Spanglers from my memory just like you, Ashe.

Ah, I understand.  The Spanglers weren't my favorite team either.

Right.  We already know it's potentially Tammy & Victor, Mark & Michael, and Cara & Jaime, but who could the last one be?  Maybe Margie & Luke got by the F5, after all?  Maybe Amanda & Kris?  But it would be nice to find out it was LaKisha & Jennifer.

I think this episode will be one of the better ones of the season. Don't know why, I just feel it will be.

Dare I say it will "Take the cake?"  :funny:

read the summaries, makz3d, they are the most helpful, thanks to puddin.

Peach,

I did read the summaries on the first pg.  That's where I found the blog that I reread.  When I indicated I had been reading all of the messages I should have included summaries too.

Sweet!

Oh, and btw, if the teams selected in your signature end up being the actual F5 rather than the generally-speculated one, then it'd be a pretty good one, I'd definitely say.

Mrs. shrek, it would indeed as Kanchanaburi is 5 km from that bridge(or where the earlier version of it was).

Switzerland - Golden Eye
Germany - Munich
Austria - The Sound of Music
Romania - Dracula
Russia - In Russia With Love
India - Ghandi or Slumdog Millionaire
Phuket, Thailand - The Beach
Bangkok, Thailand - Brokedown Palace
China - Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Last Emperor

Hey Ashe :waves:

Where is this generally speculated f5 list? I wasn't aware there was one :duno:

I've read a blog where someone thought they saw the cheer leaders going to Hawaii, and there was an unconfirmed sighting of 'a deaf woman' and 'the orange team' in Bangkok which mentioned the little men, but I haven't read of sightings of B/V or A/K later in the race and I don't think there is any confirmed f5 lists, at least here on RFF. :duno:

Mrs. Shrek, the F5 has generally been speculated to be Tammy & Victor, Margie & Luke, Cara & Jaime, Mark & Michael, and one other team that's either Amanda & Kris or Preston & Jennifer.
