24 Clocks Back In November 23 with "Prequel"

Oh yeah — 24! Fox has set a Nov. 23 air date for the two-hour movie that will bridge the gap between Days 6 and 7. Filmed partially on location in South Africa, the "prequel" finds Jack Bauer battling an international crisis (yea!), while back home, the United States prepares to inaugurate a new president.

"We're excited about the prequel because it explores Jack's complex emotional state of mind and still has all the signature excitement and suspense that fans have come to expect from 24," says executive producer Howard Gordon. "Shooting in South Africa affirms everyone’s commitment to making this season especially memorable for our fans."

The plan for Day 7, which was first detailed many months and one long strike ago, seems rather intact, with all of the new or returning cast members still on board. That includes (spoiler alert) Carlos Bernard (as Tony Almeida), Cherry Jones (President Allison Taylor), Colm Feore (First Gentleman Henry Taylor), John Billingsley (security specialist Michael Latham) and "FBI agents" Janeane Garofalo, Annie Wersching, Jeffrey Nordling and Rhys Coiro. Chloe and Bill are still around, too, though CTU isn't.

We have a 24 folder? Boy, before I got obsessed with Amazing Race, my obsession was on 24, until S6 which really sucked, but the Redemption trailer looks fantastic.

Lost? Did someone say Lost?? I love that show. Well, except for S2 and the first half of S3, which were crap, but overall, this show is truly great. My goodness. I knew there was a reason why I liked this board.  :luvu: :luvu: :luvu:

Puddin dear, thanks bunches for the updates!  I've been trying off/on to post 24 stuff and then I just get too darn tired of waiting for the pages to load due to my stupid Dial Up!   That's the bad news.

Whala!  Good news...I'm getting DSL real soon.  :jumpy: :jumpy:  I'm waiting for my phone company to get out here and install the new modem.  Hope that happens this week!  Yeah!

Meanwhile, back to business for today...

T-minus 23 minutes until we hear, "The following takes place between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m."

I do wish they would bring back "The events occur in real time."

Yeah that.

They had quite a lot of action imo & i really enjoyed the show.  The white house stuff is neccessary for some background for the action happening outside the House.  Now if CTU returns, remember who Jack is.  He's the GUY who operates undercover as directed by the Prez.  At least that's my understanding.

I agree that the first ep was to set up for future eps.  Monday night will probably have more action, but there will still be the setting up stuff.

The show was another sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat to me!  Loved it!

I want Chloe baaakkk!  She will be, but wonder if she'll be there as a permanent or just makes short appearances?
