Why did they save Josh?

I was soooo amazed last nite while watching Big Brother, what ever possessed the house to save Josh. The only thing he is good for is fights and controversy. I am just waiting for when he and Gerry get into it! That will be a good fight

I think they saved Josh because they know that he can be used at a later date.
