They may look fearless and are strong women but we shall see their real characters soon.

The comparison that comes to my mind is with Dustin/Kandace, who as winners of Miss California and Miss New York both had constituencies of more than 30 million people. Pailin and Natalie match them in beauty and charm, but seem to fall woefully short in intelligence and endurance. If they had those qualities in abundance we should be hearing about that and we aren't. What a pity!
