Rob and Amber? Oh no, my bad... wrong topic... "SADDEST"

Really, Meredith and Gretchen, Fran and Barry and Bill and Cathi... it always makes me sad to see an older team being eliminated.  :(

I have to say that one of the saddest was Rob and Amber in season 11.  They were a very competitive team and to go out on such a random luck task was very sad.

Well they had bad karma.

Not really, it's a game.  Even the Forrest Gump team the cowboys could play games with people sometimes.

I wasn't much of a fan of Abbie & Ryan but I felt bad for their emotional leg consisting of flight issues and the U-Turn - resulting a "sad" elimination in my book.

Abbie & Ryan is right up there with one of the saddest eliminations for me. Have rarely felt that sorry for a team. One of the unluckiest teams ever - if not the outright unluckiest... :(

Well, after just finishing watching Leg 4 of Season 17 for the first time (which I am thoroughly enjoying by the way), I can definitely say that Connor & Jonathan's elimination was really sad! I was just really starting to become a fan... :cmas4

But I was glad to see they took it so well and weren't overly upset. They recognized that it is just a game and were able to move on.

And Bob & Joyce, the cyber-couple, from season 5.. :cmas4 They were so sweet to each other on the race.

I completely agree. They looked so sad when they started singing "Pomp and Circumstance" as they walked onto the mat. :(

That and Joe & Bill who through no fault of their own, were still on their way to the Leg 7 location when Dustin & Kandice were racing Leg 8.

This, and Debbie & Bianca, I hated how they were one of the few teams who decided to finish the meat-eating RB and get eliminated. :tantrum

I know they didn't technically get eliminated, but I thought J squared coming second was heart-wtenching.  :'(

I found Zev and Justins in TAR18 very sad, i don't know why. I think the setting and time of day may have helped, but I found it real sad.

The last time I was terribly sad - Abbie and Ryan... since Margie and Luke in TAR 18 and David and Mary in TAR 10.

I have to say Matt and Dan was really sad the other night. If they didn't capsize at all they would have been 9th and even if they capsized once they would've been 10th

I'm only going to pick from seasons I've watched:
21: Amy+Daniel (surprised no one has mentioned that yet!)
21: Abbie+Ryan
20: Vanessa+Ralph? I felt bad for them going out because of Vanessa's ankle injury slowing them at the game show roadblock.
18: Jet+Cord  :gaah:
17: Connor+Johnathan
15: Herb+Nate
15: Zev+Justin

I stick with what I posted once. After paddling for a long while, having climbed against an alpha male, and after those peaceful words of the Filipina girl and getting a flower necklace, I still cry when I see Linda and Karen's elimination. It just... Hurts.
