The challenge that is labeled Hookers must be EP3 so we know that Ali/Kristen/Victoria are safe thru EP2.

Since none of these challenges appear to be for ep 2 ( theres no way to be 100% sure just guessing) it would appear also safe thru ep2 are

Clay
Craig
Bobby

these I'm unsure because its sort of blurry
Mark
Nicole?
Alex? or Paul? or maybe both, lol

Maybe Liz is in trouble EP2?

Well, if Liz is going home in Episode 2 that means she's not the Mole -- and that means that any clues we think might refer to her don't really do so.

The set of photos labeled Bungee with Craig, being the only one I could identify (and now Victoria), could it be this bridge?

(3rd photo in group) April 20 - 21st, again from ShanSlam.

credits again to ShanSlam~

So is "The Mole", the successful reality that the U.S. channel ABC recorded in Chile

First it was James Bond. It is now one of the most important channels for the American television ABC, which elected Chile to produce one of its most successful programs: the reality show "The Mole."

Its return was announced for May 26, in prime time, and it began with a suprise alert, issued at the end of the season of "Lost."

"We chose Chile because it gives us the opportunity to go to the beach to the mountains and desert to the forest," said Scott Stone, the producer of the reality show, by telephone from Los Angeles.

"The Mole" returns to the screen after four years of recess. The program began with two successful seasons in 2001 and 2002, and its contestants must complete challenges, use equipment, and most importantly, look for evidence to find out who one is "the mole"; (ie, an infiltrator from the production to impede the tasks.) In 2003 and 2004 were two versions VIP, the latest in Yucatan (Mexico). "This program is different from other reality shows, because nobody is eliminated by popularity; Only those who know how to play succeed, not because they are more popular," says Stone, about the program, which this time will be led by Jon Kelley.

The producer said that the decision to record in Chile was made eight weeks ago and explained: "We were there three weeks and now we are going." It also adds: "The Chilean people were very kind to us and it was very easy to work."

The "Mole" was recorded in the Salto del Laja, Los Angeles, Concepcion, Santiago and several locations in Pomaire, which revolutionized the people last weekend. Will there be local aspects portrayed in reality? "There are many elements of Chilean culture that will emerge in the program: filmed in Pomaire with his famous Chanchitos, and also show the food, music, history, architecture and folklore of Chile" says Stone, who does not reveal how many of the 10 episodes of the program are conducted in the country.

The production said that was not associated with the James Bond movie, which was filming at the same time in the north. "The only thing that happened to us was that the police stopped us because of a broken mirror. That was the only thing that scared us," said a relaxed tone Stone, who still does not know if it is still an issue in Chile.

"Chile has a very beautiful landscape to record our program."

Scott Stone, who has produced all cycles of "The Mole" is not taking over the high expectations generated by the return of reality to the screens in the U.S.: ""You have to ask how ABC is important. For me, as producer, is the most important thing." John Saade, executive Channel, left the point clear at the prestigious specialized "Variety": "This is a show that truly love and making people ask us all the time." ABC is one of the chains more views of U.S. Gives "Desperate Housewives" and "Dancing with the Stars", where contests Cristian de la Fuente. Scott is also the producer of "1,000 Places to do before dying", in which Chile has drawn up the cable channel Travel & Living.

I think I found something else that connects between EP2 & EP3, not that big of a deal

Heres the youtube promo for EP2, Nicole tells Paul that she'll kill him in his sleep at the execution.

near the end of this youtube at dinner Paul tells Nicole that she threatened his life

EP3 details
The contestants, clad in nothing but their underwear, hit the streets of Santiago, Chile, and solicit clothing. Meanwhile, one player starts a quarrel during dinner.

So just more proof of that Paul, Victoria & Nicole survive EP2

This is for EP5 6/30 from tvguide, maybe Mendoza...  which works well with the vineyard pictures here.

Episode Detail: - The Mole
The players must work together to be rescued from the freezing cold. Meanwhile, the most well-liked player becomes the most hated.

MENDOZA
WEATHER

The morphological diversity displayed by the Mendoza Province's uneven landscape, makes for diverse weather conditions. However, of one thing one can be certain, the sun will rise daily over its whole territory, shining down on both the plains and the mountains. .

On one side, there is the cold mountain range climate, with snow during the southern hemisphere's winter; and on the other, the warm climate of the plains during the southern hemisphere's summer, scarcely benefited by the rains brought in by winds coming from the Atlantic Ocean; barely an annual average of 250 mm.

These characteristics give the province's environmental conditions an identity: it is an arid space in which human settlements and economic activities are conditioned by its hydrological resources.

The soil and climate of the Mendoza area make this ideal wine country. The center of Argentina's wine industry, Mendoza's many vineyards, wineries and cellars are open to visitors who travel the Wine Route.

Looking at EP4 abcmedia pictures, Alex in the yellow hood...
Maybe the unsure male is Alex? not Paul like I was thinking ..hmmmmmmm?
So now I'm not so sure who goes EP4? I was thinking Alex but now I'm not so sure, maybe Paul? Wouldn't that be a shocker?

could be EP5

this one (below) for EP4

Never swear on your mother! haha  Well, if this isn't Nicole, I wouldn't be surprised if she's a crew member. Like the guy someone was debating was Paul. Or the guy in the photo who I think Rabbit thought was Mark. No one ever said the previews had just the cast in them right?

While looking through Uspallata restaurants, I stumbled across this photo (source story and backstory) which explains the photo from Shanslam's album: it's a Gaucho Gil shrine. The exact location is unknown, just somewhere in Uspallata valley.

I'm reasonably sure that the bungy for the next ep is at Cacheuta (photo here, city page here), which is backtracking an hour or so from Mendoza.

If you can spare some time  :spy:, I'm stuck on Ciao Cuoco, where the final meal took place last week

and the building seen in the opening titles

The "spaghetteria" I'm assuming is somewhere in Mendoza; the intro building is somewhere in South America, maybe?
Thanks for re-posting the castle and balloon video; I'd forgotten all about them. Are they from a previous season?

with all the Italian references in the show so far, it seems too co-incidental that the Ciao Cuoco is also in Italian. Yeah i know, it's a spaghetteria so that lends itself to being italian cuisine, and if there weren't other Italian references, i would think nothing of it.

still coming up empty on its exact location though.

gonna work on that building in the opening sequence for a bit.

..it could just be the Italian Argentina connection?
It is estimated that more than 20 million Argentines have at least one Italian forefather.

Maybe 2 parts of the same restaurant Slowhatch, the later one being fine dining.

So you're thinking Ciao and the breakfast nook and the confessionals are all part of the same place? Possibly. If they reuse the place (they reused Pueblo del Rio, so there's a good chance), we might get a better bead on it.

I remember the Casa Rosada!  In the musical and film Evita, Eva Peron did two cool scenes from the balcony of that place!  And isn't the La Recoleta cemetery where Eva is buried?  There was a challenge in The Amazing Race 5 where the teams had to go to that cemetery.

I think Ciao Cuoco was probably just used for imagery. They don't show them walking in for one. Look at the interior too compared to the exterior. Night and day. The decor really throws me. It looks more like a hotel with the seating area and sofas, etc. and what appears to be a grassy lawn outside the window. Ciao Cuoco appears to be smack in the middle of other buildings. And lastly, why is Mark using chopsticks in an Italian restaurant?! Is that Sushi he's eating?? What's up with that?  :duno:
