For me, the main wish I have is for more unpredictability - I can usually tell when watching a given new episode which team will be last - even when I don't spoil myself!

Also, fewer "staged" tasks - tasks where production has to set up a huge carnival-like thing with tents and costumes and all. (Sorry, that's just the best way I can think of to describe it. An example would be TAR 16 Leg 5 - the whole leg took place in an empty field where a big battle scene was just set up! It wasn't even really there in the first place!) There has been way too much of this since TAR 14 in my view. I want to see real places and tasks, not fake ones that could just be set up in Los Angeles! We don't need to go all the way to China to set up a fake Chinatown!

(Note: I am only assuming that this has continued from TAR 17 to the present as I haven't watched those ones.)

Didn't know where to post this, but since it's some "wish" of mine, I guess it fits in here:

TAR should have more night legs, and stop purposely making HoO to have teams race in the daylight.

I don't know, seems like back then legs were tougher (obviously…), tough enough to have teams race until dusk. It's also an interesting feat to see whatever location they're at in both day and night. (Imagine they didn't make TAR20 racers wait until sunrise for their clue in Japan, that leg would've been beautiful.)

Just a fan of night legs  :-[

Since it seems that WRP has given up on ever coming back to Mexico since season 2, more than just a wish-list of places that I want them to visit in Mexico, this is a reminder of 12 places that they're missing and we may never see on TAR. Here are the first six:

Here is a route from me:

Leg 1: USA (Los Angeles) - Canada (Toronto)

Los Angeles (Los Angeles International Airport) to Toronto, Canada   (Toronto Pearson International Airport)
Toronto (Yonge-Dundas Square)
Toronto (CN Tower)
Toronto (Scarborough Bluffs)
Toronto (House of Flags & Banners)
Toronto (Casa Loma)
*At Yonge-Dundas Square teams had to search the screens for their next clue (CN Tower with a flag background)
*Roadblock One member has to climb the entire set of stairs to the top to retrieve clue.
*Detour Climb or Cycle. Climb teams descend the cliff to their clue while Cycle teams had to bike the 1km course to get their clue
*At the House of Flags teams have to identify all 13 provincial and territory flags to get their next clue.

sry but that would be a trainwreck leg  :(

Here's a unique route plan for another Chilean start (save it for season 25 or later.)

Leg 1: (United States --> Chile)
Starting Line - Boulder City, Nevada, U.S. (Lake Mead Marina)
• Las Vegas (McCarran Int'l Airport) to Santiago, Chile (Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez Int'l Airport)
• Santiago (Estadio Pudahuel) (DETOUR: Drill Kicks/Drill Teams)
• Quilicura, Santiago (Punto Maestro Construcción)
• Quilicura, Santiago (Sign Shop) (ROADBLOCK: "Who points you in the right direction?")
• Santiago (Palacio de la Moneda) (PIT STOP :wohoo:)

START LINE TASK: Locate jet ski keys in one of 50 speedboats in the marina and ride a pair of jet skis to marked vehicles on the other side of the lake to drive to McCarran Int'l Airport purchasing flights to Santiago.

DETOUR: In Drill Kicks, teams must work together to pass the ball to each other around cones to the satisfaction of the soccer (fútbol) coach and score a total of 3 goals to get your clue. In Drill Teams, teams must participate in an intense soccer training workout (which makes no sense ) by individually pulling a weight sled across the width of the field. After getting to the other side, teams must indivdually add a 100 lbs. barbell weight onto their own sled and drag the sled back to the starting position to get your next clue.

ROADBLOCK: Construct an accurate arrow signpost using the materials and tools brought from the previous task and a simple map. (Similar to Charla/Mirna's sign freakout in all-stars task :hearts:)
---------------------------------
• Additional task:
*At Punto Maestro, teams must carry a 5-meter long wooden pole, a large box of signs, and heavy duty tools to a local sign shop.

I was thinking of a route that goes in alphabetical order, and without crossing the international date-line.

Leg 1 - Austin, Texas (starting line) - Bremen, Germany
Leg 2 - Chisinau, Moldova
Leg 3 - Davos, Switzerland
Leg 4 - Edinburgh, UK
Leg 5 - Fuzhou, China
Leg 6 - (by train to) Guangzhou, China
Leg 7 - Hakodate, Japan
Leg 8 - Incheon, South Korea - (drive to Busan, and take a ferry to) Jeju Island, South Korea
Leg 9 - (fly to Darwin and drive to) Kakadu, Australia
Leg 10 - Lusaka, Zambia
Leg 11 - Mbababe, Swaziland
Leg 12 - (Drive or take a bus to Johannesburg, and fly to) Nashville, Tennessee (finish line)
