Starting Points

How about Houston TX at the old Astrodome, or Texan Stadium.
Across town to IAH lots of flights.

Or Dallas, TX from Southfork home of the fictional Ewings.
Or Fort Worth Stockyards.
DFW in the vicinity.

Atlanta, GA too.

About the twists

How about changing the rules of the detour: no more situations that in the detour everybody is going for only one task, with the detour the rules would be that Detour A can be made by x teams, and Detour B can be made by y teams [and of course not every leg the detours could be split fairly that for example when we have 6 teams the splitting could be 3 teams per detour A and 3 per Detour B, could also be 1-5, 2-4 splitting].. And to make things more interesting every team from the beginning of the race could have the ability to pull one team from the detour and force them to do another one. [And of course this could happen only once per one team].

I like that detour idea. Maybe when a team reaches the detour place, they'll have to put a sticker of their team's pic in a board to let other teams know. And this could lead to a potential waste of time to other team when the reached a detour task that is already full.

I want to see a track and field type Roadblock. Visit a former Olympic stadium somewhere and make a team member do javelin, shot put, discus, and pole vault.

4x400 relay Ethiopia roadblock before they went to SL

It wasn't that Leg's RB - the RB was in Sri Lanka not in Ethiopia -. They were part of the relay to obtain their next clue (travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka). That was the 11th. leg of TAR 6.

Leg 6 - Benin (Abomey-Calavi/Ganvie)

Leg 10 - Spain/Andorra/France (Barcelona/Andorra/Midi-Pyrenees)
Leg 11 - Peru (Lake Titicaca) NEL
Leg 12 - United States (Salt Lake City)

Notes:
- Starting Line city would be San Francisco, then teams would race to Vladivostok which is also known as the 'San Francisco of Russia'  ;)
- Denpasar is way overdue
- 3 countries in Leg 10 is very hectic, but achievable. The Detour would be in Barcelona, RB in Andorra, and Pit Stop in Midi Pyrenees :)
- I think it would be VERY interesting to see a Speed Bump in the final Leg... who's with me?

I would love an Andorra la Vella leg that is entirely on foot. The city is small enough it should be possible.

They should do that for season 22, since because of the Country Music Awards, they air legs 11 and 12 at the same time :)

NO. That would suck. Since there are almost never HOO's in a Final Leg, the Speed Bumped team would be basically screwed.

Not neccesarily. Ernie and Cindy would have still won with a speed bump. Dan and Jordan might have (:;).
And besides, I would love to see a team all casual at the mat, thinking its an obvious final 4 non-elimination, then find out they are eliminated :lol3:
