Just a very weird idea of a new twist.
What if, unknown to the teams, Phil tells them all teams will exchange team members.

Heres mine

1 San Digeo, USA to Canberra, Australia (via LA or Hawaii for flights)
Note: Teams only are provided flights from SD via LA or Hawaii to Sydney or Melbourne before finding their own flights to Canberra)
2 Canberra to Adelade
3 Adelade to Papua New Guiniea
4 PNG to Jakata, Indonisia
5 Jakata to Kathmandu, Nepal
6 Kathmandu to Hiymalayers, Nepal
7 Nepal to Amman,Jordan
8 (Part A) Jordan to Tel Aviv,Israel (TBC leg)
8 (Part B) Tel Aviv to Jerusalem
9 Jerusalem to Madrid, Spain
10 Madrid to Havfax, Canada
11 Havfax to Quebec City
Final Leg Quebec City to Toronto to Washinton DC (2 hour finale)

The cool thing about mine is all the locations have not been vistied or have been vistied as a part of a stopover. and well as 4 unvisted countres (PNG, Nepal, Jordan, Israel)

I also have an idea for a twist. For the 1st leg the teams are interseced and the last INTERSECED team is elinamated. It adds a 12th team that makes it to the first pit stop. And to add more fuel to the fire a intersection U turn. Where a interseced team can U turn another interseced team.

I love that route from Maldives onwards!!! :colors :colors :colors

Singapore and Malaysia are OK too, but I'm not a big fan of India personally, since they've gone so many times, but at least those cities you've got haven't been heavily used, so they should be entertaining too! :)

I really love this one! :colors Everything up to Bahrain is incredible, as well as Vladivostok and New Mexico!! Chengdu and Harbin would also be interesting - I'm not a fan of more legs in China since it's been done so much, but those are two cities that I'd actually love to see! :)

Thank you Addie & Katarzyna.
Antarctica can be visited by military & commercial airplanes or even a ship. It is safe to visit during Summer in the Southern Hemisphere which is around November & December.

Very interesting, but St.Helena has no airport.

Well , a connection through Angola/Namibia/Zambia could get us there by boat...
