I also have an idea for a twist. For the 1st leg the teams are interseced and the last INTERSECED team is elinamated. It adds a 12th team that makes it to the first pit stop. And to add more fuel to the fire a intersection U turn. Where a interseced team can U turn another interseced team.

I love that route from Maldives onwards!!!

Singapore and Malaysia are OK too, but I'm not a big fan of India personally, since they've gone so many times, but at least those cities you've got haven't been heavily used, so they should be entertaining too!
