I think nearly half of those teams have broken up or otherwise would not race again :/

But if we're doing Unfinished Business 2, if they're physically able to surely Mark & Bopper need an actual second chance at racing.

I've been thinking about this
at first i would love to have all stars edition every 3 seasons, but after watch winners at war and dont forget that disastrous S24, i kinda dont like all stars anymore
especially with the casts who arent play for very long time, they will come back very different person
but i do love to watch all those classic teams
so all they have to do is use the classic teams as the template for the new cast
for example, globetrotters, we can cast new young globetrotters instead of big easy & flight
the cowboys, they can cast a new young southern cowboys team
afghanimals, since american love to have any kind of of middle eastern villain, they can cast another young and more annoying middle eastern american team
bopper & mark, just cast another similar teams
country angels, just cast another similar blonde country singers
luke & mothers, cast similar mother-boy team
twinnie, cast another twins, and so on
there are millions of people out there, there must be some of them can be our new tv gold, all they have to do is find them
Swarm stupidity

Food for thought:

I remember watching 2018's Hawaiian volcano eruption on the Big Island unfold, and recently read some personal pieces of the affected area being reopened again for tourism. I checked out some Google Maps images of what the "village" looks like now with the new dirt paths and it looks grotesquely, eerily beautiful. Maybe for a final Leg in the future if they want to head to Hawaii, they'd be able to revisit this "new" national park. Get the location back on the map.

Bringing up underrated American cities that need a finale.

Albuquerque, New Mexico - a beautiful city in a culturally unique state offering the sights of historic primitive-style pueblo buildings mixed in with an influx of tech manufacturing companies. It's also the birthplace of the Hatch Chile Festival, and has a very interesting plateau city called Acoma Pueblo in the outskirts. Albuquerque is also home to aboriginal sandpainters, screen printers, and even celebrities like Georgia O'Keefe who was a Modernist artist pioneer.
(fly into Albuquerque International Sunport)

Houston, Texas - surprised one of the biggest and most culturally diverse cities in the U.S. has never been visited once by TAR, but understandable since the city's public transportation is virtually nonexistent. Ironically, Houston has a unique sense of transportation. Famous as the term used for astronauts addressing land captains at the NASA Johnson Space Center. An annual art car parade is held on the streets of downtown as well as the occasional horse-drawn carriages. There are beautiful green spaces with surprising venues (Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern, Discovery Green, Memorial Park's Bayou Bend Collections, and Hermann Park's McGovern Centennial Gardens), a mixing pot of nightlife inspired by other cities, and low-key vantage points around the city.
(fly into George Bush Intercontinental Airport)

Kansas City, Missouri - famous for its local barbecue and jazz scene and WWI metallic poppies commemorative memorial, but also home to hidden gems that outsiders normally would not assume to associate with this city such as the underground warehouse of Subtropolis, numerous packaging plants, Nelson Atkins Museum of Art shuttlecock green space, Pawn and Pint board game pub, Art Alley, and the Central Library's rooftop terrace vantage point, and the Airline History Museum hosting a nice place for a final memory task. Potentially a site for one of the best finale structures since Anchorage's visit if done right.
(fly into Kansas City International Airport)

Atlantic City, New Jersey - the final three can work their way down the coastline to Cape May passing Wildwood and Margate City. Rich 1960's-style aesthetics with unique finds while driving down the Jersey Shore. Possibly a creative end to a mix of modern and rural tasks that's typical in every race.
(fly into Atlantic City International Airport)

Why is that? Can't teams just transit through a hub say ATL or SFO.

All of them have international airports. :funny: I listed them below. Plus, 3 of the 4 are major cities with enormous downtown areas.

Speaking as a New Jerseyan, despite its name Atlantic City Airport does not have international flights. The airport is served only by Spirit with flights to the Southeast. Teams could fly into NYC and take helicopter like TAR 27. But yes, I do like your idea of a leg in AC.

I recently watched TAR5 and teams connected domestically (I think in Denver?) on their way to Dallas from Calgary, so it's not unprecedented for teams to not directly fly internationally into their final destination (although TAR5 was quite some time ago)

I remember teams having to fly all the way across the world from Moscow to Portland, Oregon back in season 13 so it's definitely doable and possible for teams to just fly into Atlantic City through connection flights. I was thinking if Juneau from season 23 could make it on the show since its "international" airport primarily have flights around Alaska, then all these suggestions are valid, and Kansas City and Albuquerque are a shoo-in. Houston, I'm astounded the fifth largest city in the U.S. has not been visited despite its taxi shortage.
 :idgit

It's the matter of smaller, rural cities being unable to be visited, but I do remember teams traveling to the suburb-rural fringe city of Burleson in Dallas' metro area for the blind date season.

I never realized the airport only serves Spirit Airlines. I guess it's going to be the Race's first time arriving at the Philadelphia International Airport as well. :funny: Isn't it like a two hour commute from the border of Pennsylvania to the coast?

There are train connections from Philadelphia, Newark, or New York City (JFK), so I think it's possible.

That's true. There's an Atlantic City Amtrak line, but I'm not totally sure how frequent those run.

What do you mean by taxi shortage, does Houston have a problem where there are too few taxis? That would be mental considering theirs virtually no good public transport, but surely this wouldn't inhibit the race as they could have a self drive or just order in 3 taxis.

I have always wondered why Dallas is visited over Houston, also why no Austin or San Antonio. Come to think there are so many US cities that need visits for a first time or again, Philadelphia, Seattle, Miami, Orlando, Boston, Denver, also San Diego with all the visits to LA you'd think they'd go to San Diego.

Houston doesn't have a lot of taxis because most, if not all, of the residents there have to drive to get to places 99% of the time in the city and the pedestrian pathways there are super demotivating and lack care. I was there visiting one of my old college friends over a summer weekend and toured the city. I was amazed how disconnected everyone was from everywhere and my friend said that she has never seen a taxi (Uber or Lyft don't count since they're private cars) in the 7 years living there. Here in Chicago, I can walk around my neighborhood and see at least one person, and spontaneously walk to the grocery store and pharmacy. Seeing a few taxis every day is normal for me. In Houston, I didn't see a single person casually walking the sidewalks while I was being driven around by her. I saw a city bus and lightrail and no one was riding on them. Talk about culture shock. So if a team ends up losing their taxi in Houston, :waves:.

Ah that's so crazy. The USA is so weird in that their development caused all infrastructure funding to go towards roads instead of public transport with the exceptions of NYC, Boston & Chicago (Correct me if there are more), but I never knew that about taxis in Houston, maybe a self drive finale?

Probably should add LA, San Francisco, Vegas, Portland, and Seattle to that public transport-heavy list as well. Most of the west coast is highly developed. The tornado alley, not really.

Depends on how you define developed. Ames, Iowa has the third largest per capita public transit ridership (behind NYC and San Francisco) with a population of ~60,000. Granted it's a college town and most of the ridership is college students. But still, there are plenty of midwestern towns that make the list in terms of per capita ridership.
