UK Version of "The Amazing Race" for(/on) "BBC One": a race around the world, the logo is in Bank Gothic font, the envelopes were designed from the TV intro of it, cash prize £250,000.
Hosted by: Benedict Cumberbatch (he also plays as Sherlock Holmes on BBC One. Before I want him to host the show) (optional) or Peter Calpaldi or Paul McGann or Christopher Eccleston or Martin Freeman (and also plays as Watson in Sherlock on BBC One).

I agree, but TAR will most likely not visit Ukraine any time soon, the last time they visited Ukraine Phil got detained. Ukraine is also at a 2, so I think they might not want to risk going there.

Damn, actually, an eastward route with NA > Europe > Africa > Asia (> Oceania) > SA > NA would be really cool. Has there ever actually been an eastward route with an SA penultimate leg?

There are people (the weird ones) who think Jamaica is a South America territory simply because they don't acknowledge Central America and don't consider it as part of the North, so then S7 would be the only "eastward"-traveling one by technicality even though it's a looped route.

En route
Valentine's Day - Paris, France (Wall of Love, kissing booth Roadblock!, Pont des Arts love locks, The Louvre!, Moulin Rouge)
Saint Patrick's Day - Dublin, Ireland (all the good luck - Fast Forward, clover and rabbit's foot charms - and bad luck - U-Turn and unavoidable penalties - harnessed in one leg!)
Passover - Jerusalem, Israel (Kosher locusts-gefilte fish, Shabbat task, kashering a kitchen, dradle task, Seder run-through Fast Forward)
Dia de Los Muertos - Oaxaca, Mexico (Calaveras, intricate perforated paper pattern, barbacoa and grinding mezcal, Monte Alban Pyramids)
Christmas - Rovaniemi, Finland (Santa Claus Village Detour, reindeer farm, Lampivaara Amethyst Mine, Christmas chalets, Aurora Boreale maybe)

Finales
Mardi Gras - New Orleans (Mardi Gras World, voodoo shop, Hand Grenade cocktail, so many beads, masquerade, King's Cake)
Thanksgiving - Boston (Paul Revere House-Independence Trail, Savenor's Market for turducken task, Plimoth Plantation, gridiron football agility/strength drills @ Gillette Stadium)

These all sound so delightful!! I second all of these ideas!
It was so pissing off when they took a raincheck for Paris in s26 (ahem, a dating oriented season), and then visited it in s27. *sigh*

Putting this here for those users sent here from the TAR 31 subsection-

As the title says, what do you want to see in future editions of TAR?   :jam:

- Per georgiapeach, route maps and other large images should not be posted in-thread; a link to the image file should be fine, as well as this site.
- It should go without saying but this is a spoiler-free thread. If you're posting something that specifically refers to a currently-airing or currently-filming (be it the American version or any from another country) season hide it under spoiler tags:

[spoiler*]blahblahblah[/spoiler*]

but without the *. :)

Happy theorizing!  :conf:

If you're posting something that specifically refers to a currently-airing or currently-filming (be it the American version or any from another country) season hide it under spoiler tags:

You should not be posting anything about Season 31 or 32 in a non spoiler thread.
If you want to post a wishlist for this season that is fine, but it SHOULD NOT include any known location spoilers.

Thanks Zack!

Here's my wishlist of countries that I have in mind:

* Havana, Cuba - Nice place here. Teams will drive vintage cars here.
* Bilbao, Spain - If possible, it should be paired with Madrid.
* Split, Hvar, and Zagreb ( Croatia ) - These are locations that has yet to visit. Love to see them head to the capital city of Croatia.
* Santorini, Rhodes, and Mykonos ( Greece ) - Such beautiful places that teams can visit it is a must.
* Azores, Algarve Region, Porto (  Portugal ) - one of these places give a breathtaking view for teams to see.
* Sofia and Burgas, Bulgaria - two of the new country's places are good.
* Finland - yes, we need a full leg in this snowy country.
* France - Northern region of France again like Lille, Normandy Region, Lyon, etc.
* Germany - Frankfurt and Wiesbaden, need to say more?
* and the rest of the European Countries like Ireland, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Luxembourg, etc.
