They should have teams travel to London and have a roadblock based on recreating any famous Beatles Song next to Abbey Road  :2hearts:
Sorry, was listening to The Beatles and immediately thought that they should do something like this!

While that would be interesting in the right context (have them do "Help" and force them to get locals to acknowledge them <3) I'd rather they go to...any other city in England (I mean...Manchester? Newcastle?) or alternatively, go to County Kent and have a task(s) about The Canterbury Tales.

For now, I added Cairns for the second Aussie leg after Melbourne that has a spectacular wildlife in the tropical Far North. Bourkie will be proud that Melbourne won't get another (2nd) leg there.

Cut and paste from my now-removed but edited post at TAR 31 pre-race speculation thread:

Quote
Could the route now be LA-Fiji-Australia-Papua New Guinea?

This could mean we might have a Brisbane or Gold Coast leg this year! This part of Australia is BEATUIFUL!

Fiji is definitely more impossible as of now, as in which Survivor is taking place. As well as the rumored Papua New Guinea. Definitely the route could be LA-Australia (Melbourne-Cairns)-Japan (Osaka)-Taiwan (Taipei)-Malaysia (Penang)-South Africa (Johannesburg-Pretoria).

I wanted this route to be paired with those horrible Big Brother-themed season. That's why i hate them.

no shade but like... this is such a stupid opinion. If you are pre-determined on hating the cast of a season before it is even confirmed then why would you wish for it to have a bad list of countries; On the contrary you should hope for newer countries to be visited so that the season will be fun for you to watch. Believe me, even I think the BB/Survivor gimmick behind TAR 31 is stupid, but I wanna go into the season with a positive outlook and hope for new countries and amazing tasks, not a boring list of overvisited countries with generic tasks.

As somebody who has traveled through Colombia, I can't see Bogota being a location. Out of all of the major cities in Colombia, it is by far the least safest one to visit. Medellin and Santa Marta area are far more likely to be visited. . .plus more scenic and more intriguing history.
I have been to 63 countries. I have met Phil Keoghan, Jon Montgomery, Allan Wu, Elise and Bertram in person. I visited Joe & Bill in Hawaii, JK & Mike in Singapore, and Rovilson in Manila. I attended the TAR 28, 29, and 34 finales.

I would also contend that Bogota is one of the best places to get a task about molecular gastronomy. In fact, let's do this (11 legs because this is me):

TAR 31: hoo boy edition

START - Los Angeles, CA (duh)
LEG 1 - to Queenstown, New Zealand
LEG 2 - to Ainaro, East Timor
LEG 3 - to Dili, East Timor
LEG 4 - to Bhairahawa, Nepal
LEG 5 - to Delhi, India
LEG 6 - to Aggtelek National Park, Slovakia
LEG 7 - to Budapest, Hungary
LEG 8 - to Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
LEG 9 - to Santa Cruz de Sierra, Bolivia
LEG 10 - to Bogota, Colombia
LEG 11 - to Boston, MA

Otherwise known as "what happens if you make TAR 13 slightly differently?"

I LOVE THIS ROUTE. Just replace Delhi with another leg and you've created like a perfect edition of the race.

Also I didn't get the relation between Bogota and Molecular gastronomy??

- re: Delhi; the travel between Nepal to India is meant to be done over land and, of the destinations that weren't ridiculously long by train, it was the one which was technically the least recent to host a leg (vs Varanasi or Kolkata) plus I wanted another urban leg, otherwise it's just Bogota and Budapest
- re: molecular gastronomy; this and this came to mind - TAR US has had more tenuous links for tasks

also thanks!

Bourkie, you mean filming would take place between third week of June to second week of July?

In my truly opinion I posted at the other thread filming to start by June 15 (Friday) to July 8 (Sunday), a total of 24 day race.

I disagree with Honolulu start but I rather have a SoCal start in Oxnard (go to previous posts) and would involve a first task to search a sailboat in the Channel Islands Harbor. Honolulu seems very unlikely. The 31st race should get a final leg in Miami and would take a final challenge at Hard Rock Stadium to order the name of the places in the Pit Stop during the race. The finish line would probably take place at Hugh Taylor Birch State Park in Fort Lauderdale, a city north of Miami. The race haven't had a Florida visit since TAR 18.
