I've made a route that looks pretty cool.

Starting Line: Minneapolis, USA

Leg 1: Ponta Delgada, Azores, Portugal (islands in the middle of the Atlantic) (23)
Leg 2: Reykjavik, Iceland (6)
Leg 3: Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina (0)
Leg 4: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea (0)
Leg 5: Saint-Denis, Reunion, France (island east of Madagascar) (28)
Leg 6: Manama, Bahrain (0)
Leg 7: Okinawa, Japan (26)
Leg 8: Melbourne, Australia (18)
Leg 9: Auckland, New Zealand (22)
Leg 10: Hanga Roa, Chile (Easter Island) (23)
Leg 11: Cayenne, French Guiana, France (-)
Leg 12: New Orleans, USA (0)

Number = 146 (though the numbers on the Azores, Reunion, and Easter Island are ambiguous)

https://www.rome2rio.com/trip/ymnfkkwd

I like the route, but I think (correct me if I'm wrong) the total number had to be under 110.

oh. I didn't know that there was a number limit. But I would contend that Reunion, Azores, French Guiana, and Easter Island numbers shouldn't count, and I only added those numbers in case someone told me otherwise. Removing those numbers would make 76.

Yes, Reunion, Azores, French Guinea and Easter Island haven't been visited by TAR, so their score would be 0. It's your total score being 76, so are under and so u have passed the challenge!

The best part about my route is that France is visited twice, but they aren't consecutive legs, and neither of them are in Europe  :funny:

http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/territories.htm That would be the U.K. This list shows many territories of the US, but so many of them are uninhabited islands they're completely pointless tbh. The United States had five territories that really matter - Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands (both in the Caribbean), Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands (in the pacific). So the answer to your question is the U.K.!

Quick question everyone. So before I make my next route, which will most likely involve China, I want to get your guys's opinions. I know people groan whenever China is visited, so I'm trying to find a location in China that no season of any Amazing Race has ever been. Last night I went through all of China's 34 (I think  ???) provinces and narrowed it down to the provinces that had never been visited before (I even removed Inner Mongolia simply for that short bus drive to Erenhot in Season 10). So, to make it simpler, where in China would you guys not gripe about visiting?

Maybe Urumqi? Cause then you could go to other places in Western Asia easily and I don't think that area of China has been visited very often.

Yeah I guess that's true. I can see a task involving Uighur Culture, and maybe another involving the Silk Road! Thanks  :)

I guess a gripe I have is when the US visits China, they always do urban legs, so the visits all blur together. Western rural China would be a welcome change.

^Here's the end product!

Starting Line: Los Angeles, CA, USA
Leg 1: Kaohsiung, Taiwan
Leg 2: Urumqi, China
Leg 3: Urumqi, China
Leg 4: Kathmandu & Bhaktapur, Nepal
Leg 5: Chitwan National Park, Nepal (Elephants, Tigers, and Rhinos, Oh My!)
Leg 6: Male, Maldives
Leg 7: Antananarivo, Madagascar
Leg 8: Morondava, Madagascar (Surely you all have heard of the Avenue of the Baobabs and Tsingy de Bemaraha, right?)
Leg 9: Fly to Leon, Spain, then train to Valladolid, Spain. Also visits to Tordesillas (The Treaty of Tordesillas in 1494 split up the Americas between Spain and Portugal, so this could totally be made into a historical roadblock a la The Amazing Race Canada 2 Episode 10) and a pit stop at Urueña (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urue%C3%B1a)
Leg 10: Back to Valladolid and then train to Segovia, Spain
Leg 11: Train to Santander, Spain and then a ferry to Plymouth, England, UK. Also visits to Exeter, Torquay, and Dartmoor, with a pit stop on the Jurassic Coast.
Leg 12: Train to London, fly to Detroit, the sign up for one of three charter flights to Mackinac Island, Michigan, United States.

Enjoy.

Thank you! I could realistically see this route as that of Season 30, if we're lucky!

Posted from TAR 30 Pre-race speculation thread:

All-stars would be nice....
I think that Hayley and Blair and Brooke and Robbie should be in it as well as Tyler and Korey and Sheri and Cole :colors

Hayley & Blair and Brooke & Robbie have broken up.

I think he/she meant as friends not in love.
Brooke is pregnant and Hayley is engaged so I don't think we'll see these teams race again.

No Blairley? :(

Unfortunately, they could not want to race again as ex couples, alas John Vito and Jill.

That's because she didn't like how she was being portrayed up to that point, but imo their edit improved a lot afterwards.
