Would love to see the first leg start at some American large college/ university campus since it's so big and there are so many buildings.

Maybe UCLA...
Actually, 24 started at a community college in Santa Clarita while the UCLA Bruins Marching Band played during the season's introduction.

All those routes above featuring countries not visited in over 10 seasons  :colors

Sure! To make it more fun I tried to fit it in #12shows21days so WRP has no choice not to use it.  :sab

LEG 1: Los Angeles, CA to near Reykjavik, Iceland
LEG 2: to Bled, Slovenia
LEG 3: to Budapest, Hungary
LEG 4: to Volcanoes NP, Rwanda
LEG 5: to Jinja, Uganda
LEG 6: to Kuwait City, Kuwait
LEG 7: to Al Wafrah, Kuwait
LEG 8: to Luang Prabang, Laos
LEG 9: to Taichung, Taiwan
LEG 10: to Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands

Also, maybe having a "one-leg" race during which the 11 teams just have to go through 11-12 countries, without any pit stops and knowing their position on the race.

OR

Having a race in one continent like teams would have to through like across Europe by car.
I love this idea!

I like this idea but maybe for smaller mini-season with like 6-8 legs with only 6-8 teams or else the budget is gonna be tremendous.

I want to speak for everyone and say there needs to be more difficult tasks that will push teams to the limits (but not overboard like jumping over sharks) and make them interact with the natural surrounding culture such as communicating with locals, common sense, trial-error, and make them critically think for themselves like in the pioneer seasons rather than just navigation and counting on taxis. For example, the season 2 premiere in Rio required teams to figure out how to rent a boat to get themselves to a ship in the middle of Guanabara Bay. A while back in season 14, teams had choices to travel from Los Angeles to Locarno, Switzerland via a flight to Milan OR Zurich and then taking the train from there to the church. I enjoyed those unpredictable moments and hope they are brought back to all versions of TAR.

Also, cryptic clues like in the finale of season 17 (Don Quixote/7 Year Itch - Quixote Studios Stage 7) made the broadcast a lot more fun as well as engaging the racers to be clever.

My Amazing Race 30 Wishlist!

Starting Line: Pearl Harbour, Honolulu, United States 🇺🇸
Hawaii NEVER gets starting lines (has it ever?)

Leg 1: Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿
The last visit to New Zealand was in Season 22. Underused and The Amazing Race has never stayed in Auckland, for a whole leg.

Leg 2: Christchurch, New Zealand 🇳🇿
Christchurch has the most beautiful scenery, The Amazing Race cannot miss it.

Leg 3: Hobart, Australia 🇦🇺
Tasmania is a BEAUTIFUL city of Australia. The little island gem of Australia is amazing and is a perfect location for The Amazing Race to visit.

Leg 4: Melbourne, Australia 🇦🇺
Teams will need to drive to Devonport and then catch the Spirit of Tasmania to Melbourne. Cannot describe how amazing this city is. From sport to culture to food Melbourne has it all and needs to be visited, NOW!

Leg 5: Kathmandu, Nepal 🇳🇵
A NEW COUNTRY! Even Phil wants to visit his amazing country. Viewers will get hooked with the amazing mountains that are located around the city

Leg 6: Thimphu, Bhutan 🇧🇹
Prince William and Princess Kate visited and LOVED it. Can The Amazing Race replicate this visit?

Leg 7: Doha, Qatar 🇶🇦
Keep hoping for this country, season after season. I think it's just like the cities in the United Arab Emirates.

Leg 8: Cork, Ireland 🇨🇮
Time to leave Asia and to hop over to Europe. I can't believe Ireland hasn't been visited since Season 12! Time to revisit.

Leg 9: Brussels, Belgium 🇧🇪
Once again, only visited once. Hopefully, a task can be eating some Belgain chocolate!

Leg 10: Luanda, Angola 🇦🇴
Once again, a new country. Would like to see, since the civil war as ended and is safe.

Leg 11: Durban, South Africa 🇿🇦
Hasn't been visited since Season 7! Durban has also been never visited.

Leg 12: Havana, Cuba 🇨🇺 and Washington D.C, United States 🇺🇸
Amazing Race isn't going to visit Cuba, but I can keep dreaming...

Finish Line: White House, Washington D.C, United States 🇺🇸
With Trump at the Finish Line! (haha)

Enjoy! :)

The Amazing Race Asia 5 Wishlist (this is staying just in ASIA!)

Starting Line: Yuhi Falls, Minamiashigara, Japan 🇯🇵
Japan hasn't has a Starting Line and has only been visited once.

Leg 1: Toyko, Japan 🇯🇵
Toyko is a massive city and just is crying for another visit. Teams will have to take a train form the Starting Line to here.

Leg 2: Shanghai, China 🇨🇳
Hong Kong and Macau have only been visited, not mainland China.

Leg 3: Beijing, China 🇨🇳
If you go to China, you must visit Beijing.

Leg 4: Ulaanbatar, Mongolia 🇲🇳
Beautiful country and hasn't been visited on the Asian version.

Leg 5: Manilla, Philiipines 🇵🇭
Nice country, needs to be revisited.

Leg 6: Hanoi, Vietnam 🇻🇳
Not visited regularly on ANY version of The Amazing Race.

Leg 7: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳
The history in it, that's why I suggest a visit.

Leg 8: Siem Reap, Cambodia 🇰🇭
Purely because of Angkor Wat, so that's the only reason.

Leg 9: Vientiane, Laos 🇱🇦
Beautiful city, beautiful country.

Leg 10: Vang Vieng, Laos 🇱🇦
Even more beautiful than Vientiane.

Leg 11: Singapore 🇸🇬
Boring, I know, but exciting.

Leg 12: Denpasar, Indonesia 🇲🇨
A required stop and Finish City. Tourist hotspot, perfect!

Finish Line: Kuta Beach, Indonesia 🇲🇨

To start TARA back up, you need to just start in Asia and then branch out around the world again, in TARA 6!

The countries that will NEVER be visited on The Amazing Race:
Greenland
Antarctica
North Korea
Cuba

Greenland: Why? ??? I think it's possible for a visit.

Antarctica: Someday? I think it's also possible given a perfect timing.

North Korea: We'll never know what'll happen to this world in the future, far future. This is assuming TAR still exists in the far future.

Cuba: Fast & Furious already filmed here some time ago, which means the embargo has stopped.

Come on, everyone knows that Greenland and Antarctica won't be visited. North Korea, well maybe and Cuba, yes, maybe someday, but certainly not Greenland or Antarctica

There are actual flights that go from Chile to Antarctica (check the archive for TAR 11 if you're bored :)). Greenland would be difficult since you would likely go through Europe both ways. If the suggestion is that it would be difficult to find things to do then consider they've had multiple legs in Bora Bora or atop Swiss mountains.

I think it's actually quite the opposite. North Korea will never get a visit anytime in the future until hostilities between the U.S. are resolved, which I don't see happening in the near future. Cuba might happen, but I think TAR might want to wait a bit to make sure there is no tension.

Greenland and Antarctica are safe and there are things that can be done. Also, I don't think it's that big of a deal that Greenland only connects to Europe. TAR has done many Europe --> Africa --> Europe. TAR12 and 17 come to mind that have. What's the difference in doing Europe --> Greenland --> Europe?

Greenland wouldn't be too hard if it was the second to last leg. Just have the previous leg in Europe, connect via Reykjavik, and for the final leg, connect to a city with a non-stop flight via Reykjavik.

How about having Greenland for 1st or 2nd leg? I think it'll work too.

Europe-Africa-Europe is one thing since they were flying to and from different destinations and had legs in Africa in the process (even though in TAR 12 they connected in CDG both ways lol).

Europe-Greenland-Europe basically forces teams to stay on Greenland an extra day so Phil can fly back out, especially if the following leg isn't in Iceland (which...wouldn't make sense if they're already going to Greenland) or Copenhagen (which is feasible!). It's a waste of time IMO unless they can manage two legs in Greenland which if so, more power to them. There are ways to do this, namely-

This is probably the best idea though in checking it looks like the flights from Greenland to Iceland are 2x per week (Monday and Thursday / Friday depending on the city). It's doable but they pretty much are planning the race around said flight (wouldn't be the first time I imagine  :snicker:)

Quote from: Platrium

My thinking is that in order to get to Greenland for leg 1, they would have to connect through Copenhagen or, if lucky, Iceland or possibly NE Canada from Iqalquit but
1. these flights are EXPENSIVE and
2. why not just have a leg in Iceland or Iqalquit which would be cheaper and/or easier to reach?

For the record I'm #teamicelandaspenultimateleg. Give the teams a car with 4x4 drive and let them have at it. :)
