Pick a continent (Based on the traditional seven-continent system, mind you, and obviously excluding Antarctica), and make an interesting race route that only takes place in that continent.

I'd be interested to see North America in particular...

Since you asked so nicely:

START: St. Louis, MO, USA
Leg 1: to Havana, Cuba (if Vanity Fair can go just to take fashion photography then I see no issue with TAR)
Leg 2: to Hollywell NP, Jamaica
Leg 3: to Willemstad, Curacao, NA
Leg 4: to (Kralendijk to) Klein Bonaire, Bonaire, NA
Leg 5: to Copan Ruinas, Honduras
Leg 6: to Guatemala City, Guatemala
Leg 7: to Guadalajara, Mexico
Leg 8: to Phoenix, AZ, USA
Leg 9: to Napa Valley, CA, USA
Leg 10: to Prince Rupert, BC, Canada
Leg 11: to Banff  NP, AB, Canada
Leg 12: to St. Louis, MO, USA

Balancing out the languages was kinda hard since I didn't want six legs in English-speaking or Spanish-speaking areas, hence trips to semi-rural Jamaica, the Netherland Antilles and Prince Rupert, BC (petition for First Nations representative Suzette Amaya to be greeter  :luvya:). Somehow there's enough relevant locations for a drink-related final task lol

Also another new challenge, this time with difficulty levels  :conf:

EASY:
1. Must start and end in US with 12-13 legs.
2. For each country chosen as well as the Finish Line, find the last season that hosted a leg for it on TAR and note the season number. The total for your season should be less than 110.

For example, TAR 26 would be: 23 (Japan) + 19 (Thailand) + 22 (Germany) + 0 (Monaco) + 21 (France) + 2 (Nambia) + 21 (Netherlands) + 7 (Peru) + 5 (Dallas) = 120 and they could've easily had a leg in Slovakia instead of Bavaria.

Notes: a) only count places that had actual tasks or RIs (so Kenya is 0, notably), b) dependant territories should be separate from their home countries (Greenland, French Polynesia, etc) and c) separate the individual countries of the UK when calculating (though they're all pretty high so...)

HARD:
1) Start and end wherever but at least 2 continents.
2) Your route should have AT MOST 3 legs which take place in a country's largest city by population, with the exception of chartered transportation and microstates with only one "city" like San Marino or Andorra.

SERIOUSLY?!:
1) Make any sort of feasible route with St. Helena  :funny:

Why do I think that easy and hard are sarcastic? :lol: I'm gonna do easy. Also, I'm not gonna include elimination legs for now.

Leg 1: Alaska, USA --> Vladivostok, Russia       (21)
Leg 2: Russia --> Sonbong, North Korea           (0)
Leg 3: North Korea --> Thimphu, Bhutan           (0)
Leg 4: Thimphu, Bhutan
Leg 5: Bhutan --> Kuwait                                   (10)
Leg 6: Kuwait --> Athens, Greece                      (9)
Leg 7: Greece --> Bucharest, Romania              (14)
Leg 8: Romania --> Addis Ababa, Ethiopia         (6)
Leg 9: Ethiopia --> Moroni, Comoros                 (0)
Leg 10: Moroni, Comoros
Leg 11: Comoros --> San José, Costa Rica        (8 )
Leg 12: Costa Rica --> Guatemala, Guatemala   (0)
Leg 13: Guatemala --> Minnesota, USA             (0)

Total:                                                                  68

Plat: ''HARD" was initially going to be at most *2* but then it turns out the only race that managed this was TAR 8 lol.

"EASY" is easier I think since many seasons get close to 110 if not lower but have at least one obvious substitution (Laos over Thailand in 26, Crete over Sicily in 25, most countries in 24, etc).

Also, Minnesota would be 0 and I suspect Bhutan would force production to have an NEL there if they ever host a leg

BritishTARFan: - technically Phoenix would be 8  :snicker: (I think Czech Republic x2 over Belgium makes the math work still :))

And to put my money where my mouth is:

Leg 1 - Albuquerque, NM to Guadalajara, Mexico (3)
Leg 2 - to Antigua, Guatemala (0)
Leg 3 - to Granada, Spain (24)
Leg 4 - to Andorra la Vela, Andorra (0)
Leg 5 - to Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina (0)
Leg 6 - to Split, Croatia (12)
Leg 7 - to Paje, Zanzibar, Tanzania (20)
Leg 8 - to Iringa, Tanzania (-)
Leg 9 - to Khumjung, Nepal (0)
Leg 10 - to Kathmandu, Nepal (-)
Leg 11 - to Xi'an, China (24)
Leg 12 - to Seattle, WA (3) (86)

I misunderstood the part with the fimish line. I thought it'd always be 27. :stare I edited it now, but it still falls below 110. :grins:

Just imagine a leg in St.Helena. <33 :lol: (Well, its new airport will opened in 2016, so WRP better plan a leg there!)

I'll do Zack's route once I'm done with my exam. <3

Week 3 of the challenge:
1.) Should have 2 legs in a place far away from the mainland. (Examples: French Polynesia for France, Greenland for Denmark)
2.) Should have 5 legs on capital cities.
3.) The number of legs in Australia & Oceania should be greater than the number of legs in Asia.
4.) Should visit 2 countries never visited by the US TAR.
5.) Should have a leg near (or at) the North Pole or South Pole.
I have no restrictions where the start and end has to be. ;) Be creative and thanks in advance! :cheer:

Okay, this route is for The Amazing Race Asia (High Budget Version lol)
Leg 1: Singapore, Singapore -> Perth, Australia
Leg 2: Hobart, Australia
Leg 3: Hobart, Australia -> Port Vila, Vanuatu
Leg 4: Port Vila, Vanuatu -> San Francisco, USA
Leg 5: San Juan, Puerto Rico, USA
Leg 6: Puerto Rico, USA -> Cayenne, French Guiana, France
Leg 7: Cayenne, French Guiana, France -> Recife, Brazil
Leg 8: Recife, Brazil -> Windhoek, Namibia
Leg 9: Windhoek, Namibia -> Valencia, Spain
Leg 10: Valencia, Spain -> Murmansk, Russia
Leg 11: Murmansk, Russia -> Islamabad, Pakistan (I think it's feasible :lol:)
Leg 12: Islamabad, Pakistan -> Singapore, Singapore

1.) Puerto Rico & French Guiana
2.) Port Vila/Cayenne/Windhoek/Islamabad/Singapore
3.) 3 Oceania Legs > 2 Asian Leg
4.) Vanuatu & Pakistan
5.) Murmansk, Russia (Near North Pole)

12 Legs -  for The Amazing Race US
Leg 1: Houston, Texas -> Montevideo, Uruguay (5)
Leg 2: Montevideo, Uruguay -> Rio Grande, Argentina (27)
Leg 3: Rio Grande, Argentina -> Christchurch & Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand (22)
Leg 4: Franz Josef Glacier, New Zealand -> Busan, South Korea (17)
Leg 5: Busan, South Korea -> Pakse, Laos (0) (Via Thailand)
Leg 6: Pakse, Laos -> Osh, Kyrgyzstan (0)
Leg 7: Osh, Kyrgyzstan -> Beirut, Lebanon (0)
Leg 8: Beirut, Lebanon -> Masindi & Murchison Fall National Park, Uganda (0)
Leg 9: Masindi, Uganda -> Sal Rei, Cape Verde (0)
Leg 10: Sal Rei, Cape Verde -> Bordeaux, France (26)
Leg 11: Bordeaux, France -> Roseau, Dominica (0) (Via Martinique)
Leg 12: Roseau, Dominica -> Portland, Maine (0)

Total = 5+27+22+17+26 = 97
I think I correctly sum it up. :P

HARD:
2.) Montevideo,Beirut and Roseau

Hi guys, what about a wishlist with never-before visited countries/states only? Try to keep in mind diverse continents (Europe, So America, Asia, Africa), TAR's budget and keep it realistic as well. So no Syria or North Korea. :-)

That would be great race, right? :-)

How about coming up with a race route assuming complete world peace, so that everywhere and anywhere is safe enough to visit?

Added to my wishlist: I want them to go back to the old way of doing post-leg confessionals. They used to have the teams sitting quietly in some picturesque location. Now it's always them just standing there while the camera moves all over the place like it's a 90's music video :/
