I think you have your directions wrong, but maybe I'm being dumb myself. Wouldn't a west to east route start in North or South America and have its penultimate leg in Asia or Oceania?

Unless they mean from the Western USA to the Eastern USA?

 :bigwelcome to RFF rafael02!

I agree with you! San Marino is very likely since they tend to visit small country in Europe lately. (Malta in 25 and Monaco in 26) A return to Belgium is a must too! (Antwerp please <3) and Indonesia in different island would be nice. (I wanna see Medan and Palembung)

Leg 1 : San Fransisco, California, USA >> Johanessburg, South Africa
Leg 2 : Johanessburg, SA >> Lagos, Nigeria
Leg 3 : Lagos, Nigeria >> Antwerp, Belgium
Leg 4 : Antwerp, Belgium >> Brugge, Belgium
Leg 5 : Brugge, Belgium >> Verona / Rimini, Italy
Leg 6 : Verona / Rimini, Italy >> San Marino
Leg 7 : San Marino >> Melbourne, Australia
Leg 8 : Melbourne, AUS >> Male, Maldives
Leg 9 : Male, Maldives >> Medan, Indonesia ( From Deli Serdang International Airport )
Leg 10 : Medan, Indonesia >> Balige / Nias Island, Indonesia
Leg 11 : Balige / Nias Island, Indonesia >> Deli Serdang, Indonesia >> Asuncion, Paraguay ( want Watermelon task's Switchback...)
Leg 12 : Asuncion, Paraguay >> Seattle, Washington, USA
.
.
Also Hoping :
- The Return of Double Express pass and Hazard ( why did they turn off hazard?   :gaah: )
- Great racers and their drama  :hearts: (like the 26th, altough it's overdramatic  :stare )
- New Suprisingly Twist ( like double elimination leg in penultimate leg ( From 5 to 3, with u-turn  :funny: ) instead of final 4 )
- More FF and revisited task...
- Villagers or Local doing something funny ( like the potato's vendors trolled the racers in Peru  :funny: , or the local judge in motorcycle task in Phillipines when he looked the cameramen and smiled a lot while correcting the racer's work(TAR 25)  :funny: )
- Closest Finish...  :cheer:
- Great Design Task and Route

 :trampb:  :cheer:

The two best routes to race

I have no problem with either Canada or Mexico being visited during a season but both in one is just a bit overkill of North America to me. It's one or the other.

I like the idea of Canada being the first leg and Mexico being the penultimate leg, but they shouldn't be the second and tenth leg because 5/12 legs in North America is overkill.

Definitely won't happen soon, but I have this idea:

Why not have the team with the best (lowest) average after 3 legs win an extra prize? This could be the return of the DYM from TAR21, or an extra U-turn power (which is too shallow), or even the Save (but I think it would be too late if given at Leg 3). Just a thought. :)

Oops...! I got it wrong! That's from Eastern USA to Western USA... I positioned first with Australia, or IF not, then it's from Western USA to Eastern USA.     ???
*Notice that San Marino is a small country, just like Malta from TAR25 and Monaco from TAR26. Hopefully it will visit alongside Italy and that's the shortcut way, most likely France -> Monaco...
*Maldives must be a part of it, and I would like to see the return of India, Spain, Greece and Australia...
*I think Europe will feature another new country, aside from San Marino, are Slovenia, Latvia, Macedonia, Andorra or Bulgaria. IF not, then there's a lot of time to revisit the EU countries like Spain, Greece, Ireland, Belgium, Romania and or Hungary... maybe 3 EU countries more or less???
* For Asian countries, there should be 2 countries more or less. If India is part of the season, then another country maybe Indonesia, Cambodia or South Korea?
* For Oceania, Australia and New Zealand are possibilities...
* For SA, there's Argentina and Brazil to return for another visit...

Replace either the Canada or Puerto Rico legs with a second leg in South Africa and it looks like a good route! Also depends where in the countries the legs are!

I'd like to see this route (this is the same one I used in random game series 1, just one leg less):

Leg 1: Newark, New Jersey -> Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Leg 2: Port Elizabeth, South Africa -> Cape Town, South Africa
Leg 3: Cape Town, South Africa -> Tunis, Tunisia
Leg 4: Tunis, Tunisia -> Ljubljana, Slovenia
Leg 5: Ljubljana, Slovenia -> Vilnius, Lithuania
Leg 6: Vilnius, Lithuania -> Minsk, Belarus
Leg 7: Minsk, Belarus -> Tbilisi, Georgia
Leg 8: Tbilisi, Georgia -> Bangalore, India
Leg 9: Bangalore, India -> Vientiane, Laos
Leg 10: Vientiane, Laos -> Hobart, Tasmania
Leg 11: Hobart, Tasmania -> Wellington, New Zealand
Leg 12: Wellington, New Zealand -> Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Leg 1:
Washington DC, USA to The Hague, Netherlands (A DC start would be really cool and a visit to the Hague would be something new!)

Leg 2:
The Hague, Netherlands to Turku, Finland (A full leg in Finland in a smaller city with rural aspects)

Leg 3:
Turku, Finland to Helsinki, Finland (A big city Finland leg with lots of history!)

Leg 4:
Helsinki, Finland to Budapest, Hungary (We need a return visit to Hungary and a possible spicy soup switchback!)

Leg 5:
Budapest, Hungary to Rangoon, Burma (A country that the race hasn't visited yet and is an incredibly pretty country)

Leg 6:
Rangoon, Burma to Medan, Indonesia (A leg in a new place in Indonesia!)

Leg 7:
Medan, Malaysia to Queenstown, New Zealand (The Race hasn't been to Queenstown in a long time and would look amazing in HD!)

Leg 8:
Queenstown, New Zealand to Wellington, New Zealand (Our capital city has never been visited before and could showcase the unique culture of New Zealand and even have a task near the Beehive (Our parliament building))

Leg 9:
Wellington, New Zealand to Nadi, Fiji (A tropical Fiji leg for a new visit and a new culture!)

Leg 10:
Nadi, Fiji to Port Moresby, Papau New Guinea (Papau New Guinea hasn't been visited before and deserves a chance to show off it's culture)

Leg 11:
Papau, New Guinea to Davao, The Philippines  (Davao would make a nice change for a different Philippines leg!)

Leg 12:
Davao, The Philippines to Seattle, Washington, USA (We haven't had a Seattle finish since Season 3 and it deserves a full leg finale)
It's Clobbering Time!

Since we were talking about it in the TAR27 pre-race speculation thread, an Asia-free season would be nice to see :)
