Belize isn't going to be visited because gays aren't allowed into the country.
Then producers must make a TAR5 or TAR6 style cast. They can have LGBT teams on another season.

They don't actually they should just avoid Belize entirely because there is nothing to do there and no real reason to go AND the cast/the route is designed seperately I think (which is why TAR24 is not necessarily a strong route) so I don't think it's necessarily a good idea to go to a boring non-LGBT rights associated country like Belize.

ANOTHER THEME ROUTE AREN'T YOU EXCITED?

 :zz:

Anyway:

START: Miami, Florida
(it would appear that I'm laying things on a bit thick, no?)

LEG 1: to Belo Horizonte, Brazil to Ouro Preto, Brazil
(and the answer is no lol. Belo is, I do believe, the last 'major' city in Brazil to not get a leg so while I would've rather had a leg in say, Curitiba, I think there's enough to do in an introductory leg. No mountain though [I had initially had this as Rio and had the Pit Stop at Sugarloaf but things changed :(])

LEG 2: to Buenos Aires, Argentina to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay
(firstly, all of like 5 people watched TARLA 3 so I feel fine with appropriating this routing. more importantly, tasks involving tango dancing and textile making and non-flight related international trips, because those are always fun)

LEG 3: to Maputo, Mozambique to Inhambane, Mozambique
(the forced stop in Maputo is mainly for logistic purposes, given that the last time TAR spent a decent amount of time flying around southern Africa all hell broke loose  :res: That said, Detour in Maputo, charter flights to Inhambane, and a reasonably difficult RB in Inhambane before the Pit Stop)

LEG 4: to Luanda, Angola
(I think everyone here has had a leg in Luanda at some point *shrugs*)

LEG 5: to Pico Island, Azores
(BAM, mountain and completely random destination to boot <3)

LEG 6: to Porto, Portugal
(thus continuing the motif of 'visiting great Empires' second cities)

LEG 7: to Muscat, Oman
(seriously, camels make everything better)

LEG 8: to Kochi, India
(so do elephants and ridiculously complex dance routines)

LEG 9: to Panjim, Goa, India via Vasco da Gama, India
(India was kind of a big deal to the Portuguese so here we are.)

LEG 10: to Malacca, Malaysia
(maybe we'll get a good Malaysia leg for a change?)

LEG 11: to Nagasaki, Japan
(maybe we'll get a good Japan leg for a change?)

FINISH: Boston, MA
(beer, Red Sox, learning, memorizing, Freedom Trailing, and someone winning a large sum of money aboard a giant ship <3)

:knuckles:  I think the TAR24 "locations team" fell short on scouting the Wales/Liverpool leg.  Instead of briefly dashing through Wales, "throwing shoes" and "killing clay pigeons", they could have visited one of the most popular tourist locations in Wales, namely Portmeirion.

Yes, Portmeirion, which contains "The Village", where they filmed the British TV series "The Prisoner".

OMG!!! That would've been amazing. It's a stunning place.  Maybe even a trippy Prisoner-inspired task.

Speaking of The Prisoner, how awesome would it have been if the TAR24 teams had gotten gobbled up by Rover.  :snicker:

Talking about Las Vegas... The city is the main enviroment for one of the longest running prime-time shows of CBS - C.S.I. -; and although most of the recording is made at Universal City and Santa Clarita, woulldn't be great having a CSI themed task on the final?

Just a wish...  :)

Ever get tired of seeing a W-turn (Especially when the team who got U-turned 1st used the 2nd slot)?
Then I wish TAR adds a No U-turn picture/board. It is placed inside the big U-turn box. Teams can use it without having to fill up or use the courtesy of photo on the W-turn board. Teams can only use it if they didn't U-turn anybody that leg.

Sample scenario:
Tim & Danny U-turn Leo & Jamal.
(Let's say) Travis & Nicole put up the No U-turn board/picture on the second slot. (They can still U-turn another team next time.)
So... Afghanimals would not be able to U-turn Brandam, since the 2nd slot has been occupied with a No U-turn board.

Is this good? Or are there any problems? I know the best thing for TAR to do is just put a normal/blind (one-slot) U-turn, but I'm trying to find a flaw in this idea. I remember asking the U-turn roulette in this thread and somebody found the bad side right away.

I don't know if this would become a thing because if you really wanted to make a Second U-Turn go away, someone would just use the Twinnie strategy. And plus with the no-uturn option, someone can just easily put it there in first place just for the lolz because it won't hurt them and they wouldn't lose a CoP.

Instead of making a new "No U-Turn" card, why not just bring back the single U-Turn?

I also want the single U-turn back. But the No U-turn card can trick the teams. Teams will think it's a W-turn (with 2 slots), but one slot can be blocked. Teams will think "In case we get U-turned, we U-turn the team behind us." But once they found out that the other slot has been blocked, they can't do anything. IMO, Twinnies' idea on the 2nd W-turn was genius.

I like the locations, but I don't know if they would all work in a season together.
For example, Iqaluit, Nuuk, and Manitsoq are all similar in culture and landscape. It would be challenging to make three different legs, and viewers would get tired of the tundra and ice by Leg 3.
