Here's my FINAL route:

Start:Some Place near LA
Leg-1 Suva, Fiji
Leg-2 Melbourne Australia
Leg-3 Hobart, Australia
Leg-4 Nagoya, Japan
Leg-5 Siem Reap, Cambodia
Leg-6 Cape Town, South Africa
Leg-7 Port Eliabeth, South Africa
Leg-8 Bergen, Norway & Torshavn, Faroe Islands, Denmark
Leg-9 Reykjavik, Iceland
Leg-10 Brussels, Belgium
Leg-11 Nassau, Bahamas
Leg-12 Orlando, United States

I love your route, this is a route I would love to Race in.  :)

Thx!!! I am actually designing the legs, so maybe i'll share with you guys after :bunny

Double South Africa, the Nordic countries of Norway, Iceland and Denmark's Faroe Islands and two very different islands, tropical Fiji and exotic Bahamas. Nailed it! I just think for Japan, I would prefer Sapporo for a colder region or for more culture Kyoto but Nagoya is fine with me.

Yeah thanks! Nagoya was a lot easier than Sapporo because you can fly to Tokyo then get a quick train to Nagoya

Oh, and I should add in,

During the Finale leg, teams are treated to VIP on a cruise ship from Nassau to Port Canaveral. Once in Port Canaveral, teams get a bus to the Disney Parks where the entire leg is spent! And, I have I think 5 or 6 self drive legs !!!

Why Norway? We had it last season

It is a wishlist anyway and it is a different part of Norway. Knowing TAR, they have a trend of using countries back to back. All were in different locations despite being in the same country.

> S.21, S.22 & S.23 had Indonesia
> S.24 & S.25 had Italy and United Kingdom
> S.26 & S.27 had The Netherlands
> S.27 & S.28 had China
> S.26, S.27 & S.28 had France

Having been to Bergen it's actually quite similar to Ålesund just a bit bigger, if we were to see Norway again I'd like to see Oslo, Tromso or the Lofoten Islands.

I love those places! We did not have a proper Oslo leg anyway. Pit Stop at the beautiful Oslo Opera House.

Why Norway? We had it last season

Change Norway to Finland and Sweden respectively for two separate legs. Sweden did not have a proper visit since season 17, and Finland never had a full leg and a Pit Stop since season 10.

Here's my FINAL route:

Start:Some Place near LA
Leg-1 Suva, Fiji
Leg-2 Melbourne Australia
Leg-3 Hobart, Australia
Leg-4 Nagoya, Japan
Leg-5 Siem Reap, Cambodia
Leg-6 Cape Town, South Africa
Leg-7 Port Eliabeth, South Africa
Leg-8 Bergen, Norway & Torshavn, Faroe Islands, Denmark
Leg-9 Reykjavik, Iceland
Leg-10 Brussels, Belgium
Leg-11 Nassau, Bahamas
Leg-12 Orlando, United States

The huge problem is USA and Fiji that the flights between LA and Nadi are only a single night flight. Australia would be a better for a first leg in Melbourne with two pre-determined flights (a tradition has used at the start of every race). See my post at page 153 with map. Another huge reason Fiji is already booked for two seasons of Survivor that rule out a crossover appearance of two reality show seasons.

There's only 1 place being visited in Bergen!!! I chose Bergen because there is a direct flight to Torshavn! And I will just change Fiji to Leg-3 and australia Leg-1 & 2

I could have one set of teams fly to nadi then suva and the other set fly to Sydney or Auckland then Suva.

A US to Fiji first leg is actually pretty viable provided you aren't starting in LA; as long as you can easily connect to LAX to SFO, you can separate teams on either FJ 871 or FJ 811 which is separated by like...40-50 minutes depending on the time of year :)

Somewhat related to the above, I feel like, especially with the westward starts from LA which tend to leave in the middle of the night, there could easily be a Detour or RB in the starting city; that would certainly be a more organic way of determining who gets on the first flight(s).

TAR should do another strangers' edition season. :hoot: Not next season though, since we need to see a regular season after 2 seasons of non-regular ones.

I love the idea of another 22-strangers paired but give the twists a break. I'd love to see a regular cast again.

IMO the Family Edition wouldn't be so bad if it went international or was the same as the TAR Canada format
