I wish that there was a race with 8 F/F teams, 2 M/F teams and 1 M/M team.  :funny:
Imagine if all 8 F/F teams get booted out before the F3. :funny:

My wish is similar but revised: For me, 5 F/F teams are great enough! :)

OMG that so would happn  :funny:

But yeah! I've always thought it'd be cool to have 5 M/M, 5 F/F, and 3 M/F!

But anyway here's another route!

Starting Line: Los Angeles, CA, USA
Leg 1: Salvador, Brazil
Leg 2: Natal & Fernando de Noronha, Brazil
Leg 3: Lisbon & Evora, Portugal
Leg 4: Algiers, Algeria (a Northern Africa location that is actual feasible: the crime rate here is actual very low!)
Leg 5: Brussels, Belgium
Leg 6: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Leg 7: Istanbul, Turkey
Leg 8: Manila, Philippines
Leg 9: Cebu, Philippines
Leg 10: Busan, South Korea
Leg 11: Seoul, South Korea
Leg 12: San Francisco, CA, USA

Yeah! Southern Algeria isn't very safe though, and the only urban crime is directed against the police. An urban leg in Algiers should be fine for one leg. In Season 26, they went to Thailand for two legs even though the country was undergoing a coup!

Thailand isn't that dangerous TBH, especially during the filming of season 26. (Around Nov-Dec) If they went on filming during season 25 in Thailand (May-Jul), then I'll be surprised. Since that's when the crisis peak.

There is nothing wrong with Thailand, but that it is just so overused on The Amazing Race, much like China, Argentina, Russia, The Netherlands and Chile.

New (not to an extreme extent) non-elimination penalty!
It's at that time when TAR needs a twist to the race-play. Though a Speed Bump has been a favorite for us and, at times, racers, I think the current last place penalty has run its course. Since TAR23?, Phil or the editing squad has yet to explain a clarification of a Speed Bump at the Pit Stop to new audiences. Goes to show how much a Speed Bump really matters today. Like "marked for elimination", this penalty may be effective, will use less budget like the Speed Bump, and potentially make teams strategize to overcome it.

The Freeze/Stop
Combo of Yield & MFE and uses sponsored FitBit
:rulz:
The penalized team would each have to reset their personal FitBit at the beginning of the Leg. If ONE teammate reaches a certain range of steps (such as 10,000-10,100), the team must pause whatever they are doing for ten minutes before resuming their action including, but not limited to, driving, tasks, dancing, and riding bikes. The other teammate fitting the range would make the team do the same thing again. Failure to comply with the rule for BOTH team members would result in a 1-hr penalty at the Pit Stop before they can check in.

I actually had a dream about this last night, for some odd reason.

During the first leg, the teams are separated onto two different flight normal. The first flight carries 5 teams and the second flight carries the other six teams. The first flight runs a normal first leg, however the second flight - because of the 6 teams - involves a Intersection that only the second flight does.

I feel like it would be cool to have more Detours with less 'obvious' pros and cons. France in 26 is a good example wherein the zipline task was easier to do and closer to the Pit Stop BUT farther away from the casino and there's the added time of teams having to change into and out of their fancy clothes.

Perhaps a twist to those adventure tasks a la ziplining where they have to test some sort of safety equipment and get $20 for their efforts or summat.

I'd love to see the hazard and double elimination again :conf:

I'd be all for the Hazard returning, but it would need to be implemented more effectively.  An idea could be that the last team to complete the Start Line task will receive the Hazard (the same as S19), and again have Leg 1 a NEL, but hold the actual Hazard task on the 2nd Leg.  It could work well that way.

As for the Double Elimination, I'd rather we never see it again. Just hated the entire concept of it.

9 to 11 teams in the Philippines! :hoot:
I've always wondered if Betram & Co seemed were hesitant to do an early Philippine Leg. Though it might have almost happened on TAR24.
If TAR Asia and TAR Australia were able to do early Philippine Legs, TARUS should be able to handle 1 or 2. :cheer:
