i am so happy that carrie made it. BIG TIME!...also they were showing promos for the CMA'S.  and they said all the biggest names in country music will be there, they said carrie's name first i knew carrie would make it big in country music! i am very happy for her! NOW i HOPE David Cook wins AI cuz he will be BIG also! i know with or without AI he will make it BUT i want , and think he deserves the title, [i just dont see David A making it big! IMO if DA wins, AI will just be giving away another contact to someone that will NOT sell. a waste of money.] i know he is a cute little 17 year old, but his voice stays the same, its like i am hearing the same song over and over everyweek!...cook's voice is very controled..his lower, middle, and higher range is PREFECT!...IMO Cook is and should be the next AI! so we can say. America got it right again,  cook will win awards. sell millions of cd's..the guy just has it! sorry i just dont see DA doing this. i am no way voting for who is the cutest. puppy love...etc etc..i am voting for the BEST singer and that would be David Cook!

I heard about a month or so ago that she had been asked to join.  It's a big commitment!  There are alot of big names who don't join because of the time commitment (you have to appear at the Opry so many times a year, do appearances for them, etc.).  Good for Carrie!  So proud of her!  And proud to have voted for her on AI!
