Nice everybody! Any chance we can find a crab place ON Slowhatch's docks? I don't think they go very far either..I'm thinking right in or around Anchorage...

Dunno if this helps, perhaps not. I found this while Googling pools of words ranging from "Fisheries near Anchorage" to "Fish cutting crab pinching"

Also, this boat looks like it is parked at that dock based on the the angle of sunshine coming in.

Based on the promos I saw last night, which were pretty clear when seen live, it looks like the ROADBLOCK or FINAL TASK takes place in an area that is divided into perhaps four areas by wooden fences.  Each area is dominated by a globe face: Africa and Europe for Rachel; North and South America for Nick.  In the background there seem to be objects associated with episodes in those areas: In Rachel's shot there seem to be a mule,(ep 1) UTurn sign,(ep 4) and a small boat (ep 6)all of which could be associated with Ireland, Amsterdam, Burkino Fasi, Lithuania, and Croatia.  So is the final task some kind of memory test?

In one of the promos there is a scene of an excited Ron and Chris jumping with joy.  But look again this is a pickup from a previous ep (Chris is wearing a pink tank top).  So could it be that the editors are playing games and the shot of Rachel holding the ROADBLOCK clue with a soulful face might be a pickup from a previous ep?  TK did the roadblocks in eps 1, 3, 5, 7 and 8.  So could this be Rachel watching in one of these? perhaps ep 3 when TK is milking the camel?

Now it looks like a globe Michael

Looking at these pictures I am convinced that CBS added the globe to the picture.  Earlier in the thread we were looking for the location of a barrel-like thing on a fence.

I just wanted to make sure someone wasn't looking for a fence with a barrel, now globe, in it. (People who post on this site are smarter than that)

Interesting how we are on page 15 on this thread, an know a lot, but still know very little.

I have no doubt that Slowhatch's picture is the exact place.  But I can't get GE to make the matching view.  Probably because I can't find the exact place   :'(

If I remember correctly, this is a golf course.  Can we use the golf course map (showing bunkers, greens and fairways) to find the hole number and then try to match with GE?

On the other hand it is so pretty that it may just be a scenery shot and not our Pit Stop!
