It is Alaska.

In the preview where they show Don & Nic in the car arguing, they are riding next to a car that has 'Alaska' something on it.

Alaska Orient I think it was

:duno:  Alaska Orient Van Service ?

That would be my guess

Their address is

3420 INDUSTRIAL AVENUE
FAIRBANKS, AK 99701

They appear to be a moving company.  http://ai.volpe.dot.gov/hhg/SearchResults.asp?search=5&ads=a&state=AK

Oh, Fairbanks, I lived there for 5 years. 95 degrees to -60 degrees all within 12 months.  Got to love it.

You have a better shot at seeing a Polar Bear, then an Igloo.

Muchas Gracias, Global Warming.....

Michael, we are talking July 29, core summer when the temperatures in the Anchorage area are in the 50s or maybe 60s. Does that sound like good snow temperatures? The reason there will be snow above Girdwood is the much higher elevation.

Peach, the Alaska Pipeline starts in Valdez apprimately 100 miles east as the crow flies or as the boat runs but much much longer for cars or other similar vehicles to get to. It runs due north to the Fairbanks area, which is almost 400 miles from Anchorage. I do not believe that whatever you saw was a segment of the Alaska Pipeline.

The type of trees and mountains do seem very Alaskan.  I wish I could see it on my broadcast yet for a better image.

Alaska doesn't have a huge variety of Tree species.  A lot of Pine then probably Birch.

Alaska does have a huge influx of Asian Tourist, so that wouldn't be unheard of.

You're right! Is that just a dock or some sort of salmon weir? ???

A church van, perhaps?

There's a moving company called Alaska Orient

Full Article:
Jim DiJulio, Sr., lifetime member of the NDTA, passed away at the age of 103 years. He was born on Easter Sunday, April 3, 1904, in Black Diamond, Washington. Jim traveled extensively for work and sometimes for pleasure. His career as manager of Lincoln Moving & Storage and his initiation of moving service to Alaska and consequent development of Alaska Orient Van Lines took him north many times and often into freezing weather. Jim was known for his generous spirit, moving furniture (free of charge) for the nuns, priests, and friends in his parish. Jim and his wife, Masina, did a lot of walking before they could ever afford a car. Later in his life, Jim enjoyed long walks, taking on as many as five miles a day. He will be deeply missed. We send our deepest sympathies to Jim's family and friends.

A church for Whores, perhaps....  Or a mail order bride outlet, you decide.

if the church was in the race, it would be a nice detour. Church of Whores or Church of brides

That would be appropriate considering where this race began  :lol3:

Thanks Rob!!

When Phil says "it all comes down to this!" they show a scene of a park, could that be where the finish line is?
