I was wondering the same thing--not sure about the tour bus though...there are a couple of entrances but usually only one per day open and I thought they had to come in via the Pitti Palace? ???

Doeswn't look too green like a garden either...but there is a small sign like you might see---

Heres some Garden stuff~
No direct bus service from the station, only from nearby Via della Scala (11,36,37) and Via Rucellai (B).
Visiting hours


Daily:
8.15 – 16.30 (November February)
8.15 – 17.30 (March)
8.15 – 18.30 (April, May, September and October)
8.15 – 17.30 (in the month of October when Daylight Saving Time ends)
8.15 – 19.30 (June August)

Entry is permitted up to an hour before closing time.


How to get there

  To Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport, by shuttle bus VOLA IN BUS to the station of Santa Maria Novella.
 
   To the station car park of Santa Maria Novella.
 
   To the station of Santa Maria Novella.
 
   No direct bus service from the station, only from nearby Via della Scala (11,36,37) and Via Rucellai (B).
 
   From the station about 15 minutes.

And all those tiny plane shots are right after sunrise.

So I would guess that teams are bunched to make their flight from some farm west of Florence.

Then they must drive to Vinci.  Kynt & Vyxsin get the Fast Forward has already been taken clue, and are last to Vinci.

N/J are probably running in Vinci; compare the masonry and the doors to this photo (not the same street, but close). And to make things more muddy, I've thrown in a photo from the path to Leornardo's birthplace in Arachiano  just north of Vinci (trees and paving).

And I like it Slowhatch--it would be nice if they went there! Then we kind of have a di Vinci theme to the leg--the "flying machines", the sculpture---not sure how the tatto fits in though! :cmaslol

That looks quite possible for the match. Do you think that shadow on the right of the Goth's arriving somewhere could be the edge of a stone building?
