Our team offers a show of old times on the occasion of banquets, special events, meetings, anniversaries and so on. Thanks to our experience at various events even abroad, we can organize a lively and bright show which is also respectful of our old traditions. Our team is constituted o flagwavers, musicians, ladies in costumes à la Renaissance and armed extras.

Our exibition's program:

- Cortege
- Greeting
- Single with four or five flags
- Duo
- Team "Lorenzo il Magnifico" with four flagwavers
- Team "Il Giglio" with six flagwavers
- Team "Fiorenza" with more then six flagwavers
- Jump with flags.

The sound of drums and clairons accompains the whole exibition. The number of flagwavers and extras varies according to our customers requests and to the space at our disposal. We reserve the right to change our program. We cooperate with other historical groups in order to organize a more articulated show:

- Ballet of the Renaissance
- Archers competing, shooting
- Medieval fight withvarious weapons
RFF's Golden Rule:
Have RESPECT for each other, regardless of opinion. This of course includes no flaming/insulting other users and/or their posts.

But then this would have to be a TBC this week and I'm not sure I can mentally make a FF/TBC go together.

I actually figured a way for this to happen - Nick/Don would get the FF and get sent to "find Phil at the mat" (or else get told to keep racing via a route marker). Televised, this could be done in five segments:

- the teams receive/open the FF clue and Nick/Don (and Goths possibly) decide to go there, followed by footage of other teams doing the normal leg,
- then maybe a segment of the drive to the FF where the Goths decide to turn back and/or a segment where Nick/Don reach the tattoo parlor, again, followed by footage of other teams doing the normal leg
- then the obligatory discussion on whether or not to attempt the FF (followed by....you know the rest)
- then they get tatted up and get the clue to "find Phil at the mat" (insert other teams)
- at around 58/59 minutes, they finally reach the pit stop, only to get told that the leg ain't over and they get another clue (to India)

Just one possibility of doing a FF with a TBC (though I suspect there will be a pit stop).

I still think that there is way to much focus on Kynt and Vyxsin for them to be eliminated in this episode

Peach, when I see your flag-twirling and tossing videos it reminds me of the baton twirling and tossing that my sister-in-law teaches. Baton twirling and tossing is difficult. Doing the same with one flag is even more difficult and doing it with two flags is virtually impossible except for experts. I cannot believe that The Amazing Race is going to subject teams to double flag twirling and tossing. It has to be single flags.

The main north-south link, which skirts Florence, is the Autostrada del Sole, which extends from Milan to Reggio Calabria (it is called the A1 from Milan to Naples, the A3 from Naples to Reggio Calabria).
To the north of Florence, the A1 links to Bologna on a busy, winding stretch with lots of tunnels (goes through the Apennine mountains) and to the south to Arezzo and Rome.
The closest exits to downtown Florence are "Firenze-Certosa" and "Firenze-Signa".
Remember that the autostrade are toll roads so you pay depending on how much you have travelled on them. You can pay with credit cards, cash or Viacard. You can purchase a Viacard from toll booths, fuel stations, some banks, tourist offices, and tobacconists.

I have some autostrada experience and I learned that you don't use it unless you absolutely have to  because they are very expensive per km. I can see Nic and Don being the only team to use it based on going to/from the Fast Forward, but Empoli does not seem to require its use. However, Don and Nic may not have access to the same maps that I do.

Remember that they are far enough behind the others that they might not get in until late afternoon--early evening. If they have to go into Florence to get the first clue that could make them later too. But it should have been light till what--at least 9 maybe? so who knows? Bet that is all on the 20th and there will be bunching so it might not matter.

Who is in the trike? TK for sure--was it Nate with Jenny waving goodbye? Is that Kynt or Nate again?

Or his intestines have finally fallen out.

Weird how Vyxsin is saying "We're gunna lose!" before Kynt starts shouting at her to stop the car. Discussing detour switch/FF?

I don't see any tattoos. Maybe:
  • It was before the FF
  • It just can't be seen in the cap
  • Don changed his mind
