A Gyro  :jumpy:
That would be a very cool roadblock challenge! Would they let contestants fly one of those things by themselves?

Probably not?  :cmaslol

The gyrocopter provides for an exceptional flying experience in a 'James Bond' style 2-seater aircraft. You to be seated at the back of the gyrocopter whilst the pilot sits in front. Your gyrocopter pilot will talk to you through his intercom and depending on your level of adventure you can either choose a relaxing calm flight or you can request that your pilot demonstrates to you just what a remarkable machine the gyrocopter is! You will be thrilled with your gyrocopter flight experience!

That page depicts Magni gyros; since they have a factory outside of Milan, and since gyros aren't built for long-haul international travel, they may be the ones used.

Those look good Slowhatch!

I really caught only a teeny glimpse--but maybe school bus yellow or orange?

Hopefully ROB caught it for us!  I think he is looking out for TAR promos for us tonight!

Little Nellie?  :cmas18 Sounds like fun. They make two-seaters, and an airfield isn't needed; they have very short takeoff/landing requirements.

I don't know...that looks like an ultralight. Peach's find of Valdera field is looking better: they have an ultralight club there.

There is not a flying machine that is as fun as a Trike or microlight. If you want to get some excitement on the land or the water then we can help you with either.

Modern trikes are one of the simplest and safest ways to get airborne. At Freeflying we fly trikes that are manufactured by Airborne Windsports and Ramphos of Italy. Its now easier than you think to get airborne and pilot your own aircraft.

The trikes that we train in are fully certified and approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.

We can train you in our trike for the first 10 hours. This will give you a good understanding of the aircraft and help you decide if a trike is for you. We can then teach you in your own trike and help you complete your license.

2 Trikes flying in formation, takeoff, flyby and extreme low flight.

We flight in north Italy, in Vigevano (near Milan and Pavia). You can see a flyby of the river "Ticino" and rice water flooded fields.

Yay Slowhatch! That is definitely what it is...

If we can read the name on the strut we'll have the manufactor.

Unfortunately, Valdera may NOT be a match...

http://www.pipistrel.it/materiali%20download/aeroclubdepliant.pdf

Here is a simulator and apparently they are very accurate but I don't think it matches the field we can see...??: unless that hanger is new...

From my video they filmed it at Vigevano and a seach takes me to ---------------

We are glad to invite you to discover another important place in italy (30 Km. from Milan) where Leonardo lived and worked: Vigevano. In this town our association organised a very special exhibition of the interactive machines reproduced from Leonardo's codices. The location is unique because is the water mill of Ludovico il Moro. Mora Bassa's Water Mill own property of Ludovico il Moro, donated as wedding present to his wife, Beatrice d'Este.

There's a factory north of Florence that makes the Brako. Yes? No?
(I'm starting to think like the others that Florence may have very little to do with the episode.)
