Also in the BG of the teams loading up the donkeys, the structure in the background is part of the death-defying high-wire bike stunt, but  is it the landing area or the takeoff area?  It doesn't seem to match the area seen in shots of Nathan and Jennifer and the Goths landing.  But the clue box is there by gum.

Now that you bring it up Gman --I'm no Chateau but here you go

Landing area to cluebox to Donkeys!!

pretty sure thats Ari & Staella below just for good measure

GMAN, I have had the belief that the most likely way to fly to Ireland was Aer Lingus and that the differentiation into two groups of teams would occur in connecting at Dublin airport to get the 1145 and 1300 flights from DUB to SNN. However, further reflection indicates to me that you are probably right and the "first" group went earlier on BA 278 departing LAX 1535 ariving LHR 0945 and connecting there to EI 375 departing LHR 1050 arriving SNN 1210. The main reason I came to this conclusion is that there are no other flights from DUB to SNN; it anything gets delayed over the Atlantic there could be serious problems. If things go wrong for the BA flight, there are still a 1630 and 2045 flight from LHR to SNN.

I believe this is Team Goth along with Nathan & Jenny landing after the RB but I'll be damned ... I can't snag a good picture!

Don't they usually have three flights available for the teams?

I dunno theres something about Staella in the picture surrounded in red. Is it the future or it just might be from her team video which we can't access yet.

If teams arrive at 1210 or 1300 I guess since the sun did not set until 2200 they would have time to do all three tasks, but include a trip to Aran? Just not enough time then to do everything in one day.

It looks like the teams are greeting eachother at some hotel, B & B, inn.  Ireland?  None of the clothing seems to match anything we have seen.  And is that Azaria?(or Hendekea)  Seems to look different.  And in another vidcap we have Nathan laughing with a staircase behind him which looks to be similar to this scene.

An overnight wait before going to Aran?

Maybe so Gman? The picture properties on the tasks in Aran have a Nov 10th date.

This is what we see Azaria & Hendekea wearing at the pitstop and I'll snag laughing Nathan for you ..brb ( ETA: When I find it that is!)

Nov. 10th???????
We have the Netherlands on the 10th so perhaps the camera dude did not set his date correct?

ETA:
Two blogs mention seeing Amazing Race teams.
Thanks to our astute dectectives we can narrow the date down to July 10th
First blog:
*We just got done with a walking tour of Amsterdam. Unfortunately it was not as good as the Berlin tour but it was still very interesting. We think we saw some participants from the Amazing Race running through town with a cameraman and sound guy following close behind.
Next Blog:
*I saw to 3 pairs that were competing in my reality favorite show “the amazing race”

I get the opportunity to answer issues raised in several different posts:

1. Peach, sometimes it is 2 flights and sometimes it is 3 flights. It just depends on how many flights are available. On the AR11 flights from Miami to Quito I remember only 2 flights, one TACA and one American Airlines. There was another American flight possible, but it wasn't used.

2. GMAN, I think it is probable that tasks get completed late evening of July 9 so that the flight from Dublin to Amsterdam the morning of the 10th can be made to validate the sighting puddin mentioned.

3. On the flying time, 10 hours and 10 minutes is indeed the nonstop flight time from LAX to Dublin. However, for those going to Ireland via London Heathrow, their time in the air will be longer by 1 hour 20 minutes.

 Nice! Or maybe an overnight in Aran. You can see the wet hair on the staircase caps. And an overnighter might explain the differences between the weather shots.

Puddin, we are dead stuck with July 10th in Amsterdam.  Remember how they described the Tour de France on the day before seeing TAR racers?  And that day before has to be July 9th based on T de F published coverage.

The only possibility is that they lost a day in their storyline of what they did in Amsterdam and that house with the hiding place.

We should re-examine that text.  I was stumped by this uber tight schedule to get to Amsterdam in time.   :groan:  I gotsomething to work out but it does not allow for any kind of over night stay before the pit stop.

And of course this shoots down getting to Vilnius before being seen in Paris.

Plus the train ride from Amsterdam means more time spent going at lest than jet speed.

These go here! Don't ask but they are TAR !!

Kilronan Hostel
is just 2 minutes' walk from Kilronan Pier on Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands, so you will wake up to the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, as well as spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean from your bedroom window
