Puddin, I use cottage cheese to. I don't like ricotti and cottage cheese makes it thicker.

Im just a southern raised redneck, My husband thought I was weird to, but his mom never made lasagna so I don't know what hes talking about (hes a midwestern). And defenitly no foil
