08.31.2007 AMBER SHEDS HER FINAL TEARS IN THE HOUSE AS SHE IS SENT PACKING BY HER "BIG BROTHER 8" HOUSEMATES
Amber Becomes The Eighth Houseguest Evicted From The BIG BROTHER 8 House And The Third Jury Member

Host Julie Chen Announces the First Live Double Eviction of this Season Will Take Place on Thursday, Sept. 6 on the CBS Television Network

Chronic crier Amber Siyavus became the eighth Houseguest to be evicted from the BIG BROTHER 8 House by a vote of 3-1 by her fellow Houseguests (the two nominees do not vote and the Head of Household only votes in the event of a tie).

On Tuesday, America's Player Eric Stein won the Power of Veto, but chose to leave Head of Household Jessica's original nominations, Amber and Zach Swerdzewski, on the chopping block.

During last night's broadcast, Amber, 27, a cocktail waitress from Las Vegas, learned her fate, said her goodbyes and left the house. After leaving, Amber was interviewed by host Julie Chen about her experience.  Amber becomes the third jury member, joining Dustin Erikstrup and Jen Johnson, who will help select a winner during the BIG BROTHER 8 Finale on Tuesday, Sept. 18.

After last night's eviction, the houseguests competed in a competition called "Tea Party," in which four Houseguests competed to become the next Head of Household.  In the competition, they carried a teacup full of tea - across a very slippery surface - and poured it into individual large containers.  Each contained a ball that would rise as it was filled.  The first Houseguest to fill their container and retrieve the ball will win Head of Household.  Viewers will have to tune in to Sunday's show to see the results of the competition that will determine who will be the next Head of Household.

Also last night, host Julie Chen announced that the first live double eviction of the season will take place on Thursday. Sept. 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network
