Check Out 'Everest 2: Beyond The Limit'

..............
New this year, beginning November 27 at 11PM ET/PT and airing following the last four episodes of the series, viewers can catch the world premiere of "After The Climb," hosted by Phil Keoghan (The Amazing Race). This four-part series features amateur climbers from the 2007 climb, joined by an illustrious pantheon of Everest mountaineers, for a candid conversation about climbing the mother of all mountains, their individual climb experiences, their motivations and concerns about attempting something so dangerous, whether technology and willpower are enough in the face of the power of nature, whether any of them could survive without the Sherpas, and more.

puddin, I was not clear on what "after the series" meant until I clicked on "MORE". That clarified that "after the series" means the 8-part Discovery Channel series "Everest2: Beyond the Limit". I had thought you possibly meant Amazing Race 12 as the series, which didn't appear to fit the timing.

It would be funny to have Phil interview racers on top of Mount Everest.   :lol3: :lol3:

Phil: So Shana & Jennifer, how does it feel to be eliminated?
Shana: Phil, it's so cold up here.
Phil: Shut up and answer the question.

The new Discovery TV show about climbing Everest starts tomorrow. Phil hosts.

Nov 27, 11:00 pm

(60 minutes)  After the Climb
Dual with the Mountain

Host Phil Keoghan has a fireside chat with five climbers from "Everest: Beyond the Limit 2" and several renowned Everest veterans to discuss their personal duel with the tallest mountain on earth. What does it take? Sequences from "Everest" illustrate.

PHIL will be hosting the Family Television Awards which will air on Thursday, December 27th at 9pm ET on the CW Network.

He noted that years ago, nearly all television was considered family television. Keoghan explained, "People used to sit down and watch television as families when the choices were very limited." He added, "Today the choices are huge and there's so much variety that there's less family television."
