Well, that does it for me. :waves:

Since I won't be able to see the episodes (like most of us here) for some time after they air, guess I have to remember to stay out of this thread till I have seen it if I don't want to know what happens!  I was thinking it didn't air till tonight--but forgot that would be now for y'all.  :groan:

Shoot. My own dumb fault.

Hopefully we will get a link soon!

Okay guys--heads up! New rule!

We have an unusual situation here in that some of you are able to see the episode before the ones of us here in the US have any way to grab it. So we are going to ask your cooperation in not spoiling the episode for those of us who can't see it immediately. And yes, I spoiled a lot of the episodes and yes this is a spoiler thread but still I like a little surprise!

So after talking it over with puddin, we are going to try a 48 hour rule to protect the innocent.

So until 9PM EST on the Saturday following the Thursday episodes--please use spoiler bars for any "spoilery" info from the latest show--especially who comes in first and who is eliminated.

To do that here --highlight the text that needs spoiler bars-- choose CHANGE COLOR from the drop down box above--and when you get this[ color=black][ /color]  delete black and type in white which essentially makes the post invisible--so say spoilers or something so we don't think it is empty!

After that it will be up to us to stay out of the thread if we haven't seen it--but hopefully that will give us time to find a way to watch each week--so if you have a link--any link--please PM me and I'll distribute it around, okay?

Thanks everybody!! :kissy:

That's fair. Especially since I can't see the episodes off the "satellite" until Thursday night, US Time/Friday morning, SIN Time at the earliest.

Here's the latest promo I culled from the AXN website. Looks like a very emotional episode. Henry crying at an airport (perhaps he and Terri missed a flight), Pam & Vanessa crying, Kinar crying, Sawaka crying, and Pam & Vanessa getting into a pretty serious crash (unlike Shana & Alexander appearing to escape in US TAR this week).

Just here to visit.

Hey everyone again!  :cmas9 :hearts: :cmas51
Haha. Anyway, I have some more stuff to contribute now.  :cmaslol

It looks like next week's location is gonna be NEW ZEALAND!

Yeah... Here's the evidence:

The left one is the preview for the next episode (after Pamela & Vanessa get into a car accident) while the right one is a picture from Yahoo when I searched "New Zealand Police Car". So there, we have it. New Zealand! Next week we should be seeing lots of drama!!

NZ sightings --

Two different blogs--one dated the 13th (here) and one dated the 14th (here)--about teams and crews transiting Rotorua. No mention of which particular TAR, but I'll assume it's TARA.

New or no?

Amazing Encounter with the Amazing Race

A couple of days ago I found myself in the middle of a TV spectacular, by accident.

There's a TV programme called *The Amazing Race*usually filmed out of the US, where teams of two race each other around the world, following clues, and performing tasks. First home win US$1000000!!

We watch it here because of the interesting places that the teams visit, and the sights they see, and a couple of times they have been through New Zealand very briefly.

On Monday the wife and I with our two homestay students were taking a winter break and driving towards the town of Rotorua, when we took a tea stop in a town called Tirau. This town is famous for its information centre, which is a huge corrugated iron sheepdog, with an equally large sheep next door.

We stopped to fill with petrol next to the dog, and were amazed to see camera crews racing around, filming pairs of people who were also filling up identical Ford Territory cars.

Suddenly the penny dropped!! - there were the famous yellow and black clue envelopes being ripped open, and we were in the middle of the Race.

I paid for my fuel, and as I walked away one of the girls asked me some directions, so I finished up signing a waiver, and may well make a walk-on appearance in the programme - what a buzz!!

A little later we found ourselves at the Blue Lake in Rotorua, where there was a setup for one of their tasks - it'll be interesting to see what it looks like.

Special Asian edition we think - may screen around Christmas

Check out the clue envelopes. They're near the keyboard. Hehe.

Sophie & Aurelia
Paula & Natasha
Adrian & Collin

There's only a few envelopes left when Adrian & Collin do the puzzle. So they should be the last team at the airport.

Check out the security guard. He's Asian. Therefore, this task is in Manila. Kewl !

9 teams remain.
1. Marc & Rovilson (Philippines)
2. Paula & Natasha (Thailand)
3. Ann & Diane ( Malaysia )
4. Pamela & Vanessa ( Malaysia )
5. Adrian & Collin (Singapore)
6. Brett & Kinar (Indonesia)
7. Sophie & Aurelia (Hong Kong )
8. Sawaka & Daichi ( Japan )
9. Henry & Terri (Philippines)

There are 2 yellow clue envelopes near Henry's hand. One near the left hand and one near the right hand. Do you see them? The racers have to climb up and grab a clue.

They alternate. Hmm.

Terri does bungy jumping
So Henry does the climbing

Collin jumps
so Adrian climbs

Natasha jumps
So maybe the person with white long sleeve is Paula

I'm not following the spoilers too much but heres this article~

Emotion runs high

IN today's episode of The Amazing Race Asia (TARA) on AXN (Astro channel 701), nine teams remain.

At the airport, one team member breaks down and starts complaining about her team's poor placement in the last leg. This sudden outburst causes her partner to start crying as well.

One other participant gets so upset about agreeing to perform a specific task that she too breaks down in tears.

The race even brings the teams to a reputedly haunted psychiatric hospital.

Why are the racers at a psychiatric hospital? Find out tonight.

Catch Collin Lou of the Singapore team performing his challenge on tonight’s show.

Sadly...Spoiler for ep 3 which has just aired here in asia...

Brett and Kinar are out...This was a great episode...they somehow managed to fit 3 countries into the end..

More drama, action and memorable quotes..and Marc and Rovilson finishing first again.

Brett and Kinar got lost pretty badly and did not complete the detour choice + a route info...and were eliminated by default.

Episode 4

Its probably a tbc/superleg based on the previews and its going to Japan and probably some other place in the same leg?

Anyway, I'll try to get it out on the dvd..hopefully its ok and peach can distribute if needed...
