Welcome Rockingrammy   :partie: :welcome2: :welcome:

I found some SAD SAD news...DAMN PIRATE MASTER!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Star_(TV_series)

Rock Star was a television series in which aspiring singers from all around the world compete to become the lead singer of a featured group. It debuted on CBS on July 11, 2005, to mediocre ratings, during the summer lineup. The show is hosted by television personality and commercial spokeswoman, Brooke Burke and Jane's Addiction lead guitarist, Dave Navarro. In the show, aspiring singers participate in a singing competition to win a chance to become the lead vocalist of a rock band. In season one, the Australian rock band INXS chose J.D. Fortune as their new lead singer. For season two, the band Supernova chose Lukas Rossi as the lead singer of their new supergroup. Both winners are from Canada. In the final episode, auditions were announced for season three, however CBS announced in May, 2007, that the series would not be renewed for a third season, due to CBS's debut of yet another new Burnett series, Pirate Master, as a replacement.

Rock Star was produced by Mark Burnett who also created other hit reality shows, Survivor, The Contender, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader and The Apprentice. It aired on CBS in the United States, Sky One in the UK, FOX8 in Australia and TV3 in New Zealand.

Reality TV's founding father takes stock

....... although Burnett denies it, a source close to the situation says "Rock Star," a talent search that in Season 2 last summer brought erstwhile Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and his colorful pals to prime time, almost certainly won't return to CBS. It thus joins Burnett's previous big-ticket network flops "Casino" and "The Contender."
