Hehehe

Yeah, sucks is different.  Sucks feels like the night after a kegger waking up nakid in a frat house.  Don't know what you did, but you know it was dirty.

Not that I have ever done that   :-[

And damnit, hurry the hell up race.  Start, like now.  The sooner you start, the sooner it ends, the faster it can replace ****ty ass programming on CBS.

Oh and guys and gals here.  Now that they voted and released the 7 wonders of the Modern World.  Don't you think its about time that AR hit the few it hasn't been too.  I would love to see  Peru's Machu Picchu and Jordan's Petra.  I think AR has been to the other 5.  THough I can't remember if they actually visited teh Colosium in Rome in season 1, or just were outside it.

Do I second that or what!!!

As I recall they were just outside the Colosseum in TAR.  Jordan's Petra would be impressive to visit but I couldn't see the race going to Jordan with the current climate in the middle east - which is a shame.

I voted and you can call me a sore loser, but how did Christ the Redeemer above Rio de Janeiro get the nod over Stonehenge? or over the Acropolis? Those are the only travesties in the New 7 Wonders of the World Vote(go to New 7 Wonders. I have been fortunate to see each of them in person except Christ the Redeemer and Petra plus several of the losers.

Was surfing Facebook tonight and in the "addicted to Amazing Race" group....a poster said CBS has announced that TAR will not continue after TAR 12. I came here and surfed a few threads and didn't see any mention of it. It strikes me as bizarre that CBS would announce something like that without knowing how TAR 12 does. Is there anything to this, or was it a poster blowing smoke? I have been out of the loop since TAR 11 finished so it might be old news, and I apologize if it is.

I haven't heard this anywhere--have y'all??

Peach

It is highly, highly doubtful that there is any accuracy on that.

Even the lower rated All Stars was higher rated then over half of CBS schedule.

And to make that choice without even yet running 12 is really, really not how television production works.

So I wouldn't worry about it.

No--no worries --I'm pretty sure I would have heard about this more directly if it was true--but I'd be interested in the facebook user's take on this--i'd like to know when it was posted for example--

I'm guessing the user just has no idea what he's talking about, I'm on facebook and I happen to be part of that group so here is the post:

Pure smoke.  If CBS can continue to run that bomb of a bust or BB8 with a rating of less than 5, then there should be no trouble about renewing TAR./

I'm back although it toke me awhile to get out of the Bran Castle; the count wouldn't let me go unless i made a donation! But I finessed him with tomato juice and made my escape.  I sent a couple of pictures of my castle visits to Puddin, maybe she can post them for me.

Picked up a bad case of broncitus and am just now getting back to normal.  Now I have to sort through the pix (a new task for me as I finally converted to digital this trip) and I'll try to put something together for ya'll.

Not much else to do while we wait for word on TAR12.  You won't find ME watching that other show - Bum's Bottom - or whatever it is called!
