Do y'all want to split up the major locations and share the research job?

I know slowhatch has worked on this in the past too.

Just let me know if you want some help!

this was in an artical on thehollywood reporter with quotes from les moonves about katie couric and then this about jericho that can used for tar if and when the day ever needs it.

Quote
Meanwhile, Moonves said the network's decision last week to reinstate the canceled drama "Jericho" following an outpouring of viewer e-mails and other protests spoke to the growing influence of the Internet on broadcasters.

"It was a campaign that couldn't be ignored," Moonves said of the mobilization of "Jericho" fans, calling it "astonishing and well-organized."

As part of the campaign, disgruntled viewers delivered thousands of pounds of peanuts to CBS' corporate offices, a reference to a scene in the season finale in which Skeet Ulrich's character replies, "Nuts!" to a demand that the town in Kansas, which had been isolated by a nuclear attack, surrender.

i think that we will always have a season of tar because it can be used in the summer or midseason or anytime they want. but the jericho people really have lit the fire to how to save a show

I don't know exactly what that guy does but let's say some kind of pre-production:

The teams were spotted in Miami airport last time 11/20, right? And say 5 days before that for rules, photos, etc--that would be 11/15.

If we assume that guy started 10/01 then that is 6 weeks before the start of the race.

And six weeks from 5/01/07 would be in 2 more days!  :o

Keep in mind that they probably wouldn't want the teams in  US  airports anywhere near the 4th of July either.

So I think anytime now till say June 28 OR sometime after July 10 sounds about right.

I was at my airport yesterday morning--and I had my eyes peeled! And just in case--I can be there anytime in about 20 minutes with my camera in hand!

Does reading the book count?

I knew at one point how many I had seen--but I'd love to see them  on TV and didn't even know there was such a show!

FWIW, from a Post at TWoP:

Quote
Just curious about when filming for the new season will start. Through the grapevine at work, I heard about a potential "amazing" team that got some time off for a reality tv show... and they are leaving July 1. Here's to hoping that it is TAR!
Anyone heard anything about other potential teams?

I would like to add one more Trave Channel show to my recommended list - The Kids Are in Charge. It premiered tonight and was delightful. You might think that a show where the kids make the choices of activities could be boring, but not in Hawaii. These kids decided to do these things:

1. Sea Life Park to swim with dolphins
2. Surfing on Waikiki Beach
3. Atlantis Submarine ride
4. Polynesian cultural Center

For their parents doing a special parents-only activity, their kids selected parasailing. Good choices all. The show gave the kids several thousand dollars in appropraite daily increments to pay for everything as long as they did not splurge on extras or expensive meals.

I am looking forward to see which country is the site for next week's family and what those activities are.
