yes! a picture will be great!
OK so one (or both) of them have to be wrong since they can't be in NYC yesterday and in New Zealand on Saturday. I really hope we get a picture, I'm thinking the NYC spotting sounds more likely. Hopefully we get the picture!! What time was this joemike?

I remember seeing/reading somewhere about a planned 40th Birthday celebration for Phil on the 31st--but doggone if I can find it now...

Nope, didn't hear anything about this.

A picture would be perfect joemike--thanks! Can you rush that for us??

Okay--I've emailed the newsroom asking to be put into contact with the race organizer in NZ so we'll see! Good job Michael! I agrree that this is almost certainly a local thingy.

I'm also following up with someone in a position to know Phil's schedule.

Guys--I really really think it is waaay too soon for sightings so let's stay cool! But always good to check it all out!

joemike--what time did you arrive and what flight were you on? And this was JFK? If we know your flights we can get time info for the next flight out of that gate. And this was Sunday the 20th, right?

theres a motto on the dan patrick show on espn radio, that you need 2 sources for rumors and speculations, but pics would do the job in this instance.

joemike--AA does go to Aruba from their Terminal--but I can't find a Gate # that high --can you help me with that? And I can get departures so no need to call but let me know about the gate if you could please.
