I believe in Phil I believe in Phil I believe in Phil

And if they have a casting editor it must be good right? Is it too late to deluge him with we don't want celebrity mail?

hmm....looks like we may get a September start after all? the Race 11 post producer is in the same time period (almost) as the air date! I'm still thinking they might stick with their Sunday line up like that article somebody posted above said.

tsk tsk...this site completley ignored Amazing Race:
(hehe, the guy edited his post thanks to the message I sent him!)

Puddin's new resume postings have me calm, I'm betting TAR will be back and all of this worrying I'm doing will have been for nothing.

this is from the usa today i love how the guy contridics him self. so we know theres 4 pickups by cbs with 3 known times open.

he talks normally about 3 of the 4 and when it comes to the 4th swingtown, the one people put on sunday nights this is what he saids
Quote
•And Swingtown, a 1970s period soap about suburban Chicago wife swappers, more likely for midseason.

then he saids this

Quote
And CBS ordered game show Power of 10, hosted by Drew Carey. It's a new take on Family Feud (minus the family), in which contestants guess what public surveys say for a chance to win up to $10 million. Survivor is a lock, and The Amazing Race also is expected to return with just one midseason cycle.
please gary levin make up your mind

Project was originally pegged for a summer debut but was held for the 2007-08 season after CBS execs became excited about its breakout potential. Eye's other reality staples -- "Survivor" and "Amazing Race" -- have been greenlit for two cycles and one cycle, respectively.

Bah! One Cycle?! Don't they always only renew tar for one cycle and wait and see how TAR does in the ratings to greenlight the next cycle? I remember last may we didn't know if there would be a TAR11 for sure!

my own personal spec on why the do it one at a time besides ratings is too keep spoilers off and sightings with out knowing it.

Yeah that's true....wow I'm so stupid LOL this whole time I kept thinking that if it's only been confirmed for one more cycle it means that would be the last one! Sorry - I was a little slow on the uptake ;)

i suspect we will have 2 cycles, i just think the tv season is week like 2004-2005. cbs is covering them selfs with diff types of shows i just think that creative minds need todo a better job on finding new shows. moonlight looks horrible, and so does swingtown

everything looks crappy on cbs thats why i am having flashbacks of the 2004-2005 tv season with 2 cycles of tar and other things coming aboard

 :wohoo:

"The Amazing Race" has been renewed for a 12th run!

From Variety:
On Sundays, "The Amazing Race" has been greenlit for another cycle, but it's not clear if it will be back for fall or midseason. Eye has other reality prospects in the hopper that could work in this timeslot, or "Viva Laughlin" could always end up Sundays at 8 as well -- potentially pushing a reality show to Wednesdays at 8.

I'm thinking TAR12 in fall (or November) - and depending on how many shows flop/ratings, TAR13 at the beginning of March!

heres the thing does cbs want to mess with success and launch a new show in septemeber and keep tar on the backburner to see how that goes, or keep it how it is and pray these new series suck lol. i think one way or another we are getting 2 cycles of tar. also if theres 1 cycle of tar the buget maybe bigger for a better season too
