I'll be back from my travels by then, so once again we are not travelling at the same time.  But, one of these years!

hehe Julie said to Phil that "Amazing Race is taking a break for the summer ..." and isn't she married to the head of CBS? Woulnd't she know what the fall schedule looks like? More confirmation for TAR12. WE have nothing to worry about :D

On TES both Julie and Phil talked about TAR taking a break this summer.  Phil mentioned that he would be spending the summer travelling around in a small plane.

Does not look good for TAR.

If they postpone TAR12 location shooting until the Fall, that means no air dates before Winter 2008.

Or TAR 12 never sees the light of day.

Gman - I think what they meant is that there will be no season airing over the summer, not that the show will not be filming over the summer. From the looks of it Phil's new show has already filmed (you see clips of him doing the hoola dance), so that leaves plenty of time to film TAR12 during the summer

I am not yet believing the "taking the summer off" either, I think this MAY (again, just a guess) be something to throw the spoiler people off track, take them off guard.... I don't know. They don't want us knowing when filming begins/ends, it helped puddin and her team too much for this season, and look at the PERFECT boot list we had.

Is it too late to say that my info about July filming was unconfirmed! LOL I guess I took it as biblical, but maybe it wasn't, its all guessing here!!!

I'm still guessing they will film in June - July 2007, I think everybody should start bringing a digital camera with them every where they go.

They never come anywhere near the state of Connecticut. If they did, I'd be bringing something... ANYTHING with me whenever I leave the house. Notepad with a writing utensil, camera; the possibilities are endless.

CBS needs to search for some new starting locations. The Northeast is a beautiful location, and there are some wonderful places for Phil to do his trademark eyebrow raise. ;)
I thought that when we fought, I was to blame
Now I know you play a different game
I've seen you dance with danger; still wanting more
Add another number to the score

They could start off the race in Boston.  Although, I wouldn't call that city 'lovely'.

Yes!  One more season of Amazing Race!   :nana

I doubt it will air in August. There's no way they would put it on in the middle of summer, my guess is the usual end of September start time.

Natives of New England such as me take offense at such rubbish. Of course Boston is a lovely city. It wouldn't have over 100,000 college students if if weren't the greatest place to go to a university or college (I can say this with authority having done so myself). The Boston Common, the Charles River, Beacon Hill and Boston Harbor are all beautiful. When was the last time you went to a Boston Pops concert on the Esplanade (I am not admitting the year when I last did this)? The suburbs outside of Route 128 are beautiful as well as many inside of that loop. Boston would be an excellent place to start an Amazing Race.

I'm a native of New England too...it's just that I find Boston to be less attractive than places like Chicago, or San Francisco.  I could see them starting it off in Boston, but I was having trouble figuring out a great place for the Race to launch.

And I have been to the Esplande for the Boston Pops Fourth of July concert.  I believe it was in 2004 or 2005 when I went.

i think we may get a midwestern start city this time. seeing how since the show went to a 2 season format back in tar 6 we have had (season8 doesnt count in this)

season6 start-chicago(midwest) end-chicago(midwest)
season7 start-Longbeach(westcoast) end-miami(east coast)
season9 start-Denver(close to westcoast) end-Denver(close to westcoast)
season10 start Seattle(westcoast) end-NYC(eastcoast)
season11 start Miami(eastcoast) end-SF(Westcoast)

I wanna ask now. This is my first season here at the forum. Do you guys usually get the elimination order of the teams? Im wondering because you dont know who to look for. I was trying to find the teams out early for all stars and spoilded the season for me. So if you do tell me so I can stay clear of them. Thanks
