Characteristics: Former Cheung Sha Wan Police Quarters is located at Tonkin Street. The distribution of the 5 blocks of quarters is in U-shape with an international school at the centre. Each block is 10-storey and each flat is from 200 to 300 sq ft in area. Shops are located on the ground floor.

In clips and in interviews for that season, they talked about that issue.  The only reason David & Mary would be able to use the Fast Forward again, was because they were with Lyn & Karlyn who hadn't yet used a fast forward.  That way every team had the chance to use the Fast Forward and weren't automatically disqualified because of random teamups.

But since Oswald & Danny have used a fast forward (as part of a team) they shouldn't be able to use one solely.

So if there is a Fast Forward left on the race (which I doubt) then the only team that would have used it this leg is possible Eric & Danielle (I don't recall seing much footage of them for this week, unless I have missed something.

mswood  - there's a shot of Eric climbing the bamboo wall, and to me the sky looks like it's getting darker from when C/M and D/K are doing it.

Thanks Micheal I forgot about that shot.  But I was sure there wasn't a fast forward anyway (because I think both have already been in episodes).

That spoiler originally came from sun7kid--he first said that he thought it was Siu Sei WAn then "Sorry if I have been confused... Maybe it is not siu sai wan, maybe chai wan? somewhere with name in 'wan' in hong kong" and then he sent us that picture of the school a couple of pages back. I have sent him an email today to see if he can come back and help...

I think it is more likely the original Siu Sai Wan/Sau Kei Wan spoiler is incorrect rather than BQs are lost in those areas.
It is because those places do not deserve to be route marker.

I really hoped D/K didn't get lost, but I remembered in another discussion board someone mentioned that he saw some productin crew in Shau Kei Wan a week before that leg, and I personnally think it was preparation work for the filming later.

I got some photos from IFC elevators yesterday, but it seems that they are not the same as those shown in pictures here, I don't know why. In fact, taking these elevators can lead you to the airport express.

For the detour, I think it is about the stunts commonly seen in HK movies, Bamboo climbing/kung fu or car stunt.

Is sun7kid  from Hong Kong?

Siu Sei Wan is next to Chai Wan. Chai Wan is next to Shau Kei Wan.
Cheung Sha Wan is completely different location.

The thing is , it makes sense for a Hong Kong to mix-up Siu Sei Wan,Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan. These locations are really close. That school is actually not exactly in "Shau Kei Wan", it's  in the middle between Shau Kei Wan and Chai Wan. However, NO WAY a Hong Kong local will mix up Cheung Sha Wan  and Siu Sei Wan/Shau Kei Wan/Chai Wan. Cheung Sha Wan is in West Kowloon and Siu Sei Wan/Shau Kei Wan/Chai Wan is in East Hong Kong Island.

Of course, its easy for a tourist to mix up those "Wan"s
