Chara is wearing different clothes in that cab ride, so it's probably from which ever leg they aren't almost last.

That's going to be an emotional moment I bet. Are there any Jewish racers racing right now?

Yep....Charla is wearing the shirt in the cab & at the knight roadblock (which is in Krakow).  & the vest when they are tuning the piano (detour) & carrying the life sized doll with their Polish fern.  (after leaving the "Doctoro's" office.) She also has the vest on at the pitstop.

Nice to see U/J (finally)...so they...

- Arrive in Krakow.
- Go to Concentration Camp (Auschwiz?) detour?  (D&K look appropriately somber.)
- Go to castle for a little knight walking (jousting?)

Then on Warsaw?

(or is the Concentration Camp the location of the TBC mat?)

I think there are simply two Poland legs, with one being a non-elimination and the other being an elimination. They wouldn't air a TBC episode and air the next part right away, because the whole point of TBC is to get ratings.

It is Birkenau--OMG, I looked at this earlier but never really thought they would go there. Kudos to TAR!

Here is a virtual tour from remember Auschwitz of the Birkenau Camp , includes scenes from inside the Death Tower

Wow.  Now we have a lot more things to search.

I suspect a clue is hidden inside the mannequin.  The racer must have the mannequin x-rayed and then interpret the clue on the radiograph.  Fun!  Rentgen relates to Conrad Wilhem Roentgen, a German physicist who discovered x-rays.

The concentration camp is known as Birkenau.  It was the death camp where the jews and others were brought for murder.  The companion camp was known as Oswiecm better known as Auschwitz and this camp was a work camp where prisoners were worked to death.  There were survivors from Auschwitz, but hardly anyone left Birkenau alive.  The slogan in Auschwitz was Arbeit macht Frei  Work makes Freedom.  Both camps are together about 50km from Krakow.

 'To Be Continued' Stops
Season 6 introduced the first double-length "superlegs" shown over two episodes. The televised episode ends with a 'To Be Continued' message instead of a Pit Stop. The second half of the leg featured a second Detour and second Roadblock. Seasons 7, 8 and 9 each had superleg with teams meeting Keoghan on the usual Pit Stop mat at the halfway point, only to have him hand them the next clue instead of checking them in. In Season 10, the superleg did not involve meeting Keoghan, but rather teams were informed to "KEEP RACING!!!" in their next route marker. In addition, the 2-hour finale of Season 8 took place over a superleg similar to Season 6's. Generally, the clues leading up to these longer legs are easy to identify because the teams will read a clue like "Go find Phil at the mat" instead of "Check into the next Pit Stop." While there was no set rest period between the two parts of these legs, there usually is some point for the teams to eat, rest and recover prior to the second set of tasks, either due to waiting for hours of operation with provided accommodations or a long train or plane ride.

"To Be Continued" legs appeared to be born out of sheer luck during Season 6. Leg 6 in Hungary was originally planned to be two legs, with a non-elimination point (with the stripping-of-all-cash rule in place) between the legs. However, the producers discovered during the race that begging is illegal in Hungary, which would have made it nearly impossible for the last place team to acquire the money needed for the upcoming leg, and quickly devised the extended leg to mimic the effects of a non-elimination leg (keeping the same number of teams in the race), and using a simple video message clue to provide teams the goal for the first task of the second half of the leg

i found it too.  The "Gate of Death" in front of Birkenau.  Where the trains came in. :(

The Amazing Race is truly amazing.  Good for them that this is a 2 hour episode.

(thanks for the info on TBC episodes, Puddin!    Nice Pic, too.  BTW)

The visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau is going to be a really emotional stop.  Auschwitz has been turned into a living museum; you see the cells where prisoners were either starved to death or sealed in to die from lack of air or where 8 prisioners are forced to stand up in a cell one meter in size.  And of course there are the original ovens used to dispose of the bodies.
There isn't much left in Birenau just some empty buildings and the ruins where the huge crematoriums were.

I think it would only be fair to give them a tour of the Wieliczka Salt Mines just to give them something to remember Krakow for.

Have we a clue of where C and M are carrying the Manaquen?  And what for?  If this a detour, what is the other task.

Just looking into that, now that we have new vidcaps.  Given the radiology on the dummy, I'm looking at these possible google phrases:

Madame Curie
University of Warsaw Radiology Dept.
etc., etc.

Thanks for the info on Birkenau, Gingerman.

Regarding C/M....looks like the pretty "helper" (is "fern" an acceptible term here?) is carrying a backpack.  I looked at University of Warsaw (& it's medical school) for pics and havent' found anything yet.
