March 11 Episode
« on: March 12, 2007, 06:25:28 AM »
I just knew James was dead meat!!! At least they made it appear that he was a major distraction late in the task with all of his second guessing. Bill Rancic even accused James of trying to cover his butt with the second guessing in case his team lost. Surya had ex-teammate Kristine in his corner. Even Tim had to admit that James did that.

So how could Trump fire Surya?  :umn:

And why does he let Kristine get away with basically adding nothing in the board room, but criticizes Surya and Aaron earlier for being so quiet?

I had read in an earlier spoiler that the GNC task was a major flop for BOTH teams. The soccer fans at the game were supposed to vote for their favorite presentation. But when it came time to vote, most were so uninterested that they just sat there. Did you notice how they showed the fans just sitting there bored during Arrow's presentation, but during Kinetic's they all appeared to be cheering? What do you bet that TPTB edited in the cheering from the game, and not the task!!!  :lol3:

i guess its possible...however kinetic's presentation was MUCH MUCH MUCH better...I was more interested in theirs...plus they added the Spanish....come on its not like survivor...they don't like the team get so decimated that there is 2 people left standing while the other team has a full house!

Tanbuns, you bring up a great point about the Spolier for the episode.  I could have sworn I saw a lady in the crowd make the goal sign with her hands, and I thought that could have been the editing just to show Kinetic's win.  Funny thing, the GNC rep didn't even mention the crowds at all.

with more time and money kinetics idea could have been pulled off to a large scale ... they were really original ... they could have even gotten lucky people from the audience involved!!

If I was one of the contestants on the show, I would have looked online and researched Half-Time shows.  At all the sports games I've attended, usually they have to do with the game itself.  For example, at a Baseball Game, have little kids race around the bases with the mascot for a T-Shirt.  Or the adults throw a ball through a hole for a good prize.

The point I'm trying to make is that both teams didn't make it simple.  Arrow's "Boxing Match on a Soccer Field" makes no sense.

IMO opioion Kinetic simply had a better presentation.  You knew what they were marketing and it was easy to follow.  Arrow on the other hand, tried too hard and really didnt focus on the brand.  Their story was too hard to follow. over all Kinetic did much better and deserved to win, last night.

The thing that bothered me was at the beginning of the show when Trump was introducing the teams to the GNC guy, he was like "Kinetic is a bunch of loser and they need to win this one" and I really feel that he may have swung it toward the ladies. I didn't like either presentation, and it is obvious that it was edited to make the crowd cheer.

I am glad that Apu got fired and that he is gone, he was annoying, and bossy, and just a snob. BUT, I still think they had a better idea. The boxing match wasn't put together as well as the Kinetic presentation, which on paper, is a weak idea.

I think Trump should have fired Heidi for being Heidi, and got it over with!!!

Is it just me, or is he obsessed with the fat Olympic girl?

This year's Apprentice is so lame. I thought both teams had horrible half time shows, but Kinetic's might have been a bit better. It got more footage and better camera shots.

Did anyone else notice that when Surya turned around from whining to the girls on the other side of the hedge that someone was sitting on the picnic table watching him? That alone would have convinced me to use that in the board room. HMMM wonder who that was, a producer or a player.  :umn:

I have more fun trying to figure out how they can look so good marching into the board room. How can they achieve that groomed appearance when supposedly they have to get ready in the tents.   :yess: :lol3:

I noticed the person sitting there too, but figured it must have been a cameraman or something. Surely Surya wouldn't have been gossiping to the Kinetic ladies with the Arrow dudes watching him!!!  ???

I also find that Trump seems to be enamored with Angela for some reason. Up until the last episode or so, I thought she was a mute!!!

I've found that those under the radar in the beginning of the show usually make it far in the show.  Me thinks Angela and Muna will make the final 2 (or Mark Burnett could have a final 3 like on Survivor).

I didn't see the picnic table guy.  Anyone got a screencap?

:lol3:  Me too, TL!!  I'm wondering if there's a special place in the mansion for everyone to prepare for the boardroom?  Or is the Donald and producers trying to make us think the interns miraculously achieve their grooming in tents.   ;D

Perhaps they have clothes brought out to them? Though, you are probably right. For the board room I'm sure they have a special place in the mansion to prepare. The drawback is they still have to sleep and recreate outside. That's bad enough.

I bet we will, someone will have an exit interview or a post show talk. I can't wait to hear the stories!  :funny:

I wonder if I could catch a shot of the picnic table, I think I saved that episode! I'll give it a try.

So, which commercial did you like? I liked the team that did win. I have always had problems understanding Muna. Still, the project manager should have weeded that out so I was still torn as to who should have been fired. At the end of the day, the project manager should be held the most responsible.

Haha...Nicole and Tim were great in theirs.  It was cheesy, yet somehow entertaining.  Muna made me yawn.  Litterally.

I preferred it as well. How many soap operas have a "To be Continued." ending? It as a hoot to see the ending because that IS how they end a show, with a cliff hanger.  :lol3:
