:plane: I've tracked the Porter to the Corbas airfield near Lyon; the ECPL homepage is here. I think the second plane may be a match as well; compare the pink splotches with the preview cap. I haven't matched the aerodrome yet, but I've attached a kmz with the co-ordinates given by the ECPL website.
Fantastic Slowhatch! Those guys are cuties..I love the dude that the Bama's get  :flirt: . And thanks Chateau !!!

To Rob & Kimberly's credit you can easily miss the Eiffel Tower after exiting the Metro.

Here is what you see from the Metro stop:

But remember R&K are lost.  Or at least don't see where to go when they get out of the Metro stop.  So I think the rest of the red pathway is where they went.

Now that I can place the location and it has good shadows:

This shot was taken between 8:29 and 8:41 am (assumes June 23rd).

Ah, now I know exactly where they are.  They are walking on Avenue de Suffren and are crossing the corner of Rue Jean Rey.  The RER station is directly behind them. To the left if the sports club Stade Emile Anthoine Just ahead of them is the Hilton Hotel.  If they would look to their left as they cross the street they would have a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower.  If they continue straight ahead they will come to one of my favoritie Parisian restaurants38 Eiffel which serves the best onion soup found anywhere in the world.

I'll send a couple of pix to Puddin which shows the view of the Eiffel Tower from the corner of Rue Jean Rey and Avenue de Suffren.

:cmas27 It's a Paris RER Metro Train... but we already knew that.   :rotf:

  Just a guess, but based on the overhead electrical poles, the vidcaps of the racers on the train platforms is probably in France.  (See previous RER photos for comparison).

I've noticed that in the past seasons, in the episode when the 4th place team is eliminated, after the team is eliminated, when the final 3 teams briefly speak about the final leg, they always show them in the order that they place. If they use this pattern fot this season, then that means T/J win, R/K are 2nd, and Bama is 3rd. :yess:

Thanks for the commercial caps Puddin, but I've forgotten: is this the same waterfall as the intro caps?
I also notice Lakshmi. It's strange, I read just a few weeks ago that TAR9 did make a stop at the ox farm in Palmer; I wonder if TAR10 went to Gandan monastery, Grand Bassin and other places and we'll never know it (unless a racer spills the beans later on   B:)).
As far as Paris goes, I did the bridges and tower and metro and all that during TH, so I think I'll sit this one out.  :rotf:

Here is a RATP map of the Champ de Mars-Tour Eiffel Metro Stop.

Gman! We are wrong.  It is that stair well that I originally drew to.

But now, R&K are busted for either theatrics or being really blindstupid.  They had to walk along the Quai Branly.  And then we have footage of them going along Avenuede Suffren with its fence around the track.

I have included here a view from Pages Jaunes that one would see on Quai Branly.  It really screams Eiffel tower.  No way they could have missed ET along Quai Branly.

Sure can be ! now all you have to do is to find that brown brick building/house with the brown roof and white shutters that the teams are running past  :rotf:.
Good Luck!!  :snics:

This shot was taken at 4:58 pm (see the clock!)

The direction of the sun shadows indicates that the tracks run east/west.  They are looking to the east so they may be waiting for a west bound train.
