COUP D’ETAT
Julie then announces a new twist that puts the game on a whole new level: the Coup d’Etat.
Whoever wins this power will have the ability to overthrow the HoH and replace their nominations on the spot at any of the next three evictions.
The Coup d’Etat has an added twist, though, as only the winning HouseGuest will know what they have won, and the power will remain secret until it is used.
The HG will be given clues to a well known BB phrase. The first person to guess it wins. Each HG only has one guess.
The first clue is a sheep , The next clue is the bell .

I think since CBS made it so obvius that they sheep was a girl (pink bow), and the word for a girl sheep is EWE.
That the answer is "EWE ARE THE NEW HOH"

The "Coup d'Etat" will enable one person to overthrow the HOH at a moment's notice.

Dani already guessed! So hopefully she guessed too quickly and looses! After giving this some thought, BB can pretty much pick who they want to win this power. If all the houseguests guess different ones, they can just pick who said the "correct one" and they have the power!!! GO JANIE AND HOWIE!!!!

It's great to finally be back at RFF. Well while I was watching tonight's episode, and as soon as I saw the sheep, I yelled out Dolly. And if you are a big-trivia nut like moi, you will know that Dolly the Sheep was the first mammal ever to be cloned. And that's when I realized DNA has a lot to do with cloning. Season 5's theme was Project DNA, or Project Do Not Assume, so I'm guessing that the phrase is Do Not Assume.b

When I saw the sheep, I immediately though of 'counting sheeps' to go to sleep...
Couldn't it be: 'You snooze, you lose' or something...
The bell could be a reference to wake-up calls...

Are these the clues so far? A fly, an apple with a bite out of it, a live sheep with a pink bow, a bell. None of it makes any sense to me yet. I don't think Dani got it, DNA seems too easy. ???

Question about the coup phrase: They can only guess once right....do they have to guess for each clue or have to know the entire phrase before guessing regardless of which clue it is on? I hope my ques. makes sense. :lol3:

but that really seems to be the phrase for this season. and it doesn't include the plane of the bean (any idea what kind of bean it was?). so i guess i do not have it afterall.

I wonder if the clues are in order. Like does 'you' have to be the first word in the phrase because the sheep was the first clue, or are they all scrambled up?

the only 2 clues are the sheep and the spool of thread because next to the spool of thread it said second clue."you reap what you sew"sure fits the 2 clues and it has been said at many nomination ceremonys and all around the house when people talk game.

It's a term that's used in Big Brother...I don't recall ever hearing "you reap what you sew", not saying it's never been said, I just don't recall..

What I'm thinking is:

This is a wild guess but, how about the phrase "wolf in sheep's clothing"? One clue was a sheep and the second one has a needle and a thread? It would seem that most of the house guests would fall in this category.

I think Mike Boogie was right but still "Wolf in sheep's clothing" could also work with a Grim Reaper but it is a long shot.
If you want to make it literal the wold wore the sheep's wool so it could get close to the sheep, meaning he wanted to kill and eat the sheep. So the Grim Reaper could signafy a dead sheep.

Anyways, pretty excited to see who wins tonight but reap what you sow looks like the right answer. Does anyone know what the deal is with Mike's answer, supposably he only said Reap what you sew, and then janelle went in to add YOU reap what you sew. Anyone know anything about this?
