We are going to be testing out our LIVE show tonight. It will still be made available as a downloadable podcast, however, tonight for the first time, we will be LIVE.
How do you listen, EASY & TOTALLY FREE. Go download SKYPE. http://www.skype.com/download/
After you install skype, go to the following link tonight at 9:30pm EST, and click this link:
https://skypecasts.skype.com/skypecasts/skypecast/search.html?search=rffradio&doSearch=Search
As soon as the room opens up, click JOIN THIS SKYPECAST, you will dial a number (FREE) and you will hear Trevor & I talk,
After the show is done, if you have a mic, you will be able to ask us questions, all to be included in our weekly podcast.
Tonight is just a test, however, if things go easy, we will hopefully be doing this on a regular basis, probably not each week, but at least once or twice a month.
If you need any help, I will be available for help until about 9:20pm tonight, as I will need to get ready for the show by then.

Bummer, Thursday's are my busiest nights. I may not make it. I won't be home till 9:30 or 10:00 and I won't have Survivor watched yet. :(

OH NOoo. Well, after Survivor is done, we move back to Wednesdays, and will be doing them then. You will still be able to get or show via podcast yet!!!

It might. But I don't have a 7 or 11 in my area. However I did see four 8 & 15's at about 1600 hours 23 miles from my home. I think that was 42 days ago.

Oh, you took notes on who was in the room? I didn't hear quick enough who was in the room. It was nice to hear you were listening though RJ. I'm still trying to figure out my mic on scype. At times it sounds good so I'm not sure if it's a mic problem. Maybe it's just user error.

I saw who was in the room...it showed it. Otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten it all down either. Next time your mic will be working and we can hear you and also somehow get puddin on there as well. I still would love to hear her do a show with them. :hearts:

Trevor, HUGE thanks for some real world info. I hope that it actually turns out to be a good show because this years Real World is terrible, I don't even watch it anymore.
I really enjoyed this show, I completely forgot about the live thing, but hopefully I can make it next week.

Trevor and Rob, I think it would be funny to have you post the preshow from last night. That was hilarious! I hope I have the kinks worked out on my mic for next time. I think a midnight show would be cool, I could definitely show up for that.

It was mostly just Rob and Trevor setting up. I was chatting with Rob and you could here him getting distracting in replying. LOL
BTW, I think the live show was fantastic. After relistening to it, I couldn't tell it apart from any other show besides Rob keep mentioning that it was live.

Yes, It was a different show. We had different surroundings, and it threw us off. We know we didn't have a great show, but next weeks will be better. We just need to realize that it isn't any different with people listening live.
Anyway, that is the story and I am sticking too it! LOL

Rob, was the show available for download different from what you broadcasted live? I downloaded the show and thought it was on par with your previous shows. I would tune in for your live shows but I'm on the west coast and I can't have Survivor spoiled. Wednesdays in the summer would be cool, because it's in-between Big Brother episodes.
I also wanted to ask: is the software required for the live show spyware free?

Aaron, I've not had any problems with spyware. Because you have to pay for voice-mail capabilities that is how they earn their income. I'm over 90 percent sure it is spyware free. Just read the EULA agreement if you download it. It will tell you if they will install thrid party software (that usually means spyware)
As for Rob saying he didn't tape the lve show. I think he meant he didn't tape the live PRE-show. The live show he did record, that was what you listened to. (Trust me, I was there).
As for you West Costies, Rob and Trevor are talking about having a later show just for you guys (Wow are you special). I think R&T will be surprised, they may have more tuning in for the later show. Still, not sure if that is exactly what's going to happen, but after Survivor is done, I think the show is going to be moved back to Wednesdays, and then be at a time that will be convenient for all.

Hey Aaron, you bring up a point I fogot to make, it is all spyware free. Jeff is completely right, they make thier money by selling services like minutes to dial real phone numbers (like your home phone, or cell phone) from your computer, or by having a phone number that people can use to call you.
The live show we do for the Survivor finale will be the day after it airs, so, the West Coasters will be able to do that show!! But we want to do a 'after Survivor' show for the West Coasters sometime!!
