Abstract: Fans of the spoiled rich kids on Laguna Beach will be, like, so excited to know the Laguna legacy will continue: MTV has greenlit a spinoff series called The Hills.

They formally announced it last night, but I had heard this was in the works.  Smart move by MTV.  I'm going to go into this in my weekly "Potpourri".

I think anything Laguna Beach related, MTV loves.  The ratings for this season were through the roof.  It was MTV's highest rated show.
