Phil: Uchenna/Joyce hit their stride on the Detour; others got held up milking goats. Teams enjoyed a ride in the African bush, but Lynn/Alex broke down, then got a flat. Tensions between Ron/Kelly turned into name calling. Uchenna/Joyce made a costly mistake (not completing the Roadblock correctly) and Meredith/Gretchen missed their final clue, opening the door for last place Brian/Greg. But in the end, even their outfits (or lack thereof) couldn't save them.
Five teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?
Phil: This is Khwai Village, Botswana. Seventh pitstop in a race around the world.
Will the increasing Ron/Kelly tension affect their momentum?
Can retirees Mere/Gretchen still beat the odds?
Rob/Amber, 12:45 am
CLUE: Fly to Lucknow, India.
Phil: They'll make their way to a religious palace, to an area known as the vuli for their next clue. Flights go to Mumbai. Teams must sign up first for a charter to Francistown Botswana to get there.
Ron/Kelly, 12:46 am.
$125 for this leg.
Conf: They're trying to make the communication "smooth."
Uchenna/Joyce, 2:08 am.
Conf: We've found the harmony that will be instrumental to winning the million bucks.
Lynn/Alex, 3:00 am.
Meredith/Gretchen, 3:45 am.
Conf: We never dreamed we'd ever make this many legs of the race. Like ferocious lions.
All the teams get on the same flight out.
Meredith: Now, we just don't want to break a hip!
Gretchen: Our bags are already on the plane.
Damn! I thought they lost everything at the other pitstop.
Phil: Their first stop is in Francistown, Botswana.
There's a sign, for the airport.
But not much more.
It looks like a glorified produce stand.
BWAH! [/twop]
Rob/Amber and Ron/Kelly try to pull a fast move behind the ticket counter, looking at the computers.
Meanwhile, Lynn/Alex are outside on a cell phone, with U/J and M/G watching.
Each team seems to be getting in at 9:35 am.
Wait .. Rob finds one that gets in "five minutes earlier."
Rob/Amber and Ron/Kelly will take the "earlier" flight, through Delhi.
The other three teams take the flights arriving at 9:35.
Rob, behind the ticket counter: If they want the same tickets, tell them you can't do it, and just point to me. Don't worry. I'll smile right at 'em.
Woman: Okay.

Lucknow |( (%# .. never been there ..
L/A get M/G tickets.
M: Why are you doing this for us?
A: Because we want you in the finals with us!!
Ron: We gotta quit talking to 'em.
Kelly: Yeah but keep your enemies closer.
Rob conf: Amber and I are in this to win it.
Ron: Kelly and I have done well with the tension we've had.
Kelly conf: When we are not winning we were everybody's friend. Nobody's our friend anymore.
Amber conf: Nobody wants to be with us. We're the frontrunners.
From Francistown, the first plane leaves taking teams to a bigger airport.
Phil: All teams on thier way to Lucknow, and all have a stop in Mumbai.

Phil: All five teams are on their way to Lucknow, through Delhi. They have to get to this Palace for their next clue.
Teams get in cabs and head through Lucknow.
Ron makes yet another Baghdad/Bombed analogy. :eyes
Rob/Amber's cab passes Ron/Kelly's.
Ron conf: No luck at all.
Second plane, a few minutes later, and the last three teams get cabs.
Uchenna conf: Somebody on the plane gave us good advice to go to this prepaid taxi.
The other two teams are negotiating price.
U/J get tickets for a prepaid taxi, almost immediately.
Meredith: They're using a lot of words I don't know, honey.
Lynn/Alex can't communicate with the cabbies, either.
Mere: They're trying to stiff us!
Meanwhile U/J get in a cab and haul ass.
The other two teams are stuck in an argument they can't win.

The argument continues.
Meredith stomps away toward a cab.
M: The other guy was trying to stiff us.
L/A get in theirs first.
M/G get in theirs last.
M: Everybody pushing, shoving, pushing, shoving.
G: Get used to it.
Rob/Amber first to arrive at the BOULI palace.
They put scarves on, for custom.
Rob: We're all about the customs.
Amber, reading: No yelling/running inside.
Ron/Kelly next, don scarves.
Kelly: Peaceful in a city of chaos.
Uchenna notes that women don't play a big role in what they're seeing, traffic-wise.
Rob: Okay. Looking for the clue box.
Ron finds it first.
Rob: Make your way by horse drawn tonga to the Steel Emporium.
Phil: Three miles away their next clue.
Ron: Does it look like anybody's been here yet?
Kelly: No.
Ron/Kelly read clue.
There's a YIELD on this leg.
Ron speculates whether Rob would YIELD them.
Rob: If they were any players at all, they'd YIELD us.
U/J arrive as Amber, conf: I'd rather YIELD L/A

Gretchen, arriving at the palace: Omigod. I wish I had a lot of money to give these poor people.
Uchenna and Joyce wish the remaining teams good luck as they leave the palace.
Lynn/Alex in 4th, M/G in 5th.
Gretchen: Caution! YIELD ahead!
In the tongas ... R/A and R/K.
Lynn/Alex decide to haul on foot to the closest tonga.
Gretchen exorts her driver to go faster.
YIELD.
Ron/Kelly and Rob/Amber racing toward it.
Phil: Teams can only exercise a YIELD once in the entire race. Turn this hourglass ... yadda, yadda
First to the YIELD: Ron/Kelly: You wanna do it?
Rob/Amber arrive and look them right in the eye.
They yield no one.
Rob conf: Luckily, they're not the brightest bulbs on the christmas tree.
ROADBLOCK: Who has a lot of patience?
Searching through lockboxes.
Amber: I found one, Kelly!
CLUE, R/A: Travel to Aishbagh.
They'll travel by ricksha to Aishbagh to this gas station for the next clue.
Kelly finds one.
Ron/Kelly head to Aishbagh.
Ron conf: They have the most unbelievable luck. We should have yielded them.
Rob: Their mistake.
Amber: Oh, well.
U/J, M/G and L/A race toward the YIELD in tongas.
U/J don't yield anyone.
L/A: R/A didn't YIELD us? I don't know why not!
Uchenna searches through boxes.
Last place now, Gretchen will search through them.
There's only a few cluse, buried in a zillion lockboxes.
Uchenna gets one.
Richsha .. Aishbagh .. they're gone.
Gretchen: Oh, no! Oh, no!
L/A move on.
A man bangs on metal making a cacaphonous noise as Gretchen laments "we'll be here all night."
M: Come on, Gretchen!!
G: I've gone through piles of 'em. I can't find a clue. Exasperated.
M and G hug.
G: I don't know where else to look. I think I've opened every doggone box there is.
M: Don't give up, honey!
COMMERCIAL.

Gretchen wonders if there are any boxes left to check.
G: I don't know what to do.
M: Poor thing.
Finally Gretchen finds one in a box!
She kisses the clue.
Mere applauds.
They read the ricksha clue and head for Aishbagh.
Gretchen thanks the nice man with the ricksha.
Meredith wants him to run.
He's gonna walk.
Ron/Kelly and Rob/Amber ask directions.
Rob: We know the gas station is under the bridge.
Amber: This is gotta be it; everybody standing around.
Rob, CLUE: DETOUR.
Phil: What kind of items to deliver, Solid, or Liquid.
Solid. Make your way a mile to a coal depot. Smash pieces into small pieces, load 275 pounds, transport by tricycle 4 blocks for the next clue.
Liquid. Make your way 3 miles to a tea store, choose a cart, and push it 100 yards to an office building. Search for 5 specific employees and serve each tea. You'll get a business card for each correct person. All 5 for the next clue. Searching through the crowded offices can be frustrating and take time.

Teams must decide how to transport themselves to the DETOUR.
Ron wants to follow Rob/Amber.
Kelly: Make it known I disagree with this.
Ron/Kelly will ride a ricksha, much to her displeasure.
Lynn/Alex and then Uchenna/Joyce get to the gas station.
Uchenna/Joyce hope to pass Lynn/Alex.
Meredith/Gretchen get their ride, finally, to the vicinity of the gas station.
Rob/Amber choose the tea carts/business cards.
Rob finds the office building.
Ron/Kelly seem to be following them.
Ron/Kelly find the building, close behind.
A huge, huge tea cart ...
Rob/Amber pushing, filling cups one at a time.
All they have to find people are names and pics.
Tough, tough, tough.
Rob: Can I see your business card? What department is this? Excuse me? Do you know any of these people? You have a business card? This is gonna be tough!!
Rob finds man #1.
He gives them a card.
Ron: You find anybody yet?
Amber: We found one.
Rob: I don't want them following us!
Rob finds Sumeer, man #2.
He gives them a card.
Kelly gets card #1.
Uchenna/Joyce choose the tea cart.
Why are the physically strong teams choosing the challenge which, on its face, will take more time?
Meredith/Gretchen praise their ricksha driver,
They're headed for the DETOUR.
Man: I'm so happy to see you.
The crowds cheer for M/G.
M: Blow some kisses.
Gretchen: Hi, everybody!
They wave and smile.
DETOUR, they'll choose liquid.
Everyone touches Gretchen's hand as they find their ricksha guy again.
Ron/Kelly collecting cards.
Uchenna/Joyce pushing tea cart.
Uchenna quickly finds man #1.
Tea cart in tow, Lynn/Alex finally make it to the office building.
Everyone seems to be taking the approach of finding a friendly person and asking if they know the peeps in the pics.
Alex: How are we supposed to find them?
COMMERCIAL.

They walk upstairs.
L: It's like step aerobics.
Finally they find a person.
Rob finds another person.
Task completed.
Rob asks directions of the ricksha driver now.
Ron/Kelly task completed.
They head outside.
Rob/Amber have to push their cart back. It's tough in all the traffic.
Kelly, going down stairs: Omigod, it's Lynn/Alex.
L/A go upstairs and get #2.
Meredith is having trouble, again, communicating.
Rob finds the owner of the tea company and turns in his cards.
R/A, CLUE: Make your way to Phil and the Mat.
Phil: They'll proceed to the roof of this building.
Ron/Kelly: This clue is written differently.

Ron: Let's lighten up the attitude.
Joyce gets the final business card.
They take the cart back across the street.
Lynn/Alex finish the task and head out of the building.
Rush hour ...
L/A have no problem getting the cart back across the street.
Man to Uchenna: You look so tired!
He gives them the clue.
Lynn/Alex: I hope it's a pitstop or we're dead.
CLUE: Multi-story flat ...
Meredith/Gretchen start serving tea.
G: Don't burn your hands!
M: I could drink some of this!
G: I could, too!
They serve the wrong guy!
G: That's Raj over there? He took your tea!
One at a time, they obtain business cards.
M: Omigod, he wanted tea too bad.
Ron/Kelly and Rob/Amber prepare for a footrace as they ride their own rickshas toward the multilevel flats.
Rob: How do we get on the roof?
Rob climbs stairs.
R: Please let this be it!
Phil: Rob/Amber, welcome to Lucknow. You guys probably think this is the end of the leg? I have another clue. This leg is not over.

Phil voice: ... while stubborn camels slow their progress.
Amber aims the stick as if to drive the camel one way; the camel drags the cart in the opposite direction.
Amber: No! This way!
Rob, referring to the camel: He's pissed.
Meredith takes a dipsy-doodle in a camel cart and almost falls out.
Gretchen: Talk nice to the camel.
Meredith: I'm trying!
Gretchen grimaces.

This episode was so disappointing.
I remember a comment by G'man about Rob and Amber being all over the previews. It was to cover over a sucky show.

question right now is (at least for me) if the last team to get there will be ripped of all of their possesions (assuming thats its a non-elimination, you can dress up a pig and make it all nice but at the end its still a pig {l{ )

I have nto watched it....so I just went to the bottom to see who was eliminated....TBC well I guess I did not miss much

okay some quick observations, I watched the show last night.
L/A said they want M/G in the final 3 with them ~okay this like alliances shown will not survive in survivor....so that means eithe rL/A or G/M will not be fianl 3. Remember last season the model allinace did not make it to the end either.
U/J said they were with L/A because they were sharing information.....and R/A and R/k were not. Well it is down to 5 teams how long did you expcet teams to share information. also does this foreshadow someone sharing info with them late or not sharing? Coudl the sahring be L/A downfall?
R/K said no one wanted to talk to them or be their friend now that they were in 1st and 2nd place.....now they are talking to R/A...now they see some of the way R/A are treated. (not saying right or wrong here just stating a fact) So interesting part for me is this foreshadowing R/K trying to make friends again or them droppign from the top?
Also K and A both did the roadblock and both said they had to...they are aware of how many each have done and are looking to the end of the game. Even L/A said you are going to have to do this one..
L/A really surprised that they were not yeilded by R/A....also Phil said it was the 2nd of only 3 in the leg. makes me think someone will be yeilded on the next yeild.
Did anyone else notice that Uchenna was pedaling the bike in their rickashaw? That was a greta strategy the man knew his way around and he had the strength to get them going faster.
They focused too hard on the back pack that Gretchen just boight...I think they might be the last to arrive.
