*** I don't know if it's ok to start a new threat for that, but Peach feel free to move, if not ok***
I was recently thinking on where should TARC go if we have another season. I feel like a have a good idea for my province, of places where TARC should absolutely go, but I figured maybe other posters here had ideas on their own province, or other places they went.
I don't mean this threat to be a wishlist, it's more of a suggestion guide for people that really know. Like realistic destinations TARC production could see and be like: hey this is a good idea and we could do this.
So for exemple:
Gaspé Leg:
I'm still surprise we haven't seen TARC go to this area in Quebec. You can access it by airplane at Michel-Pouliot Gaspé Airport from Montréal or Quebec city (or by bus).
It's a unique region in Québec with their own culinary speciality, strong aboriginal culture, and one of Quebec's natural wonder, Le Roché Percé (50 mins drive from Gaspé). There is also a monument call the birthplace of Canada, a big cross where Jacques Cartier declared this land for the King of France.
You have a nice little museum, some natural parks and some whale watching spots.
Everything TARC needs to have a classic leg with breathtaking beauty, and where people dont speak english too much.
I have other ideas (Trois-Rivières, Saguenay, Sherbrooke, Chambly) , but if TARC is only doing 1 leg per season in Quebec, I think this place should be it...
How about you?

they need to leave the country for an entire season thats what they need to do

stunami, I agree with you about the Gaspe AND the other cities you mentioned. It's sad that Quebec has remained almost untouched.
For me in Ontario (I know...yawn) the only real areas are Peterborough, London and of course Windsor. Perhaps the Bruce Peninsula/Manitoulin island or Niagara-on-the-Lake. Windsor/Essex County and Pelee Island (or Point Pelee) WOULD be a good choice, I don't mind saying.

I strongly believe that they should visit Melbourne, Australia! :funny:
We have sport, cafes, cultural landmarks! What else do you want? :funny:

I just visited Melbourne and I LOVED IT! It was a bit gray because of winter but it was so beautiful

I said realistic LOL we all know this will never happen. But you know who might do it, Quebec tv. If we ever get a TARC quebec version in french, they usually have a big budget for that. Some dating shows from TVA (the main network) ALWAYS include trips to like Africa, Asia, Oceania. If they ever produce a version of the show, I wouldn't be surprise they do full international.

Well, there's a law about percentage of Canadian content they have on Canadian-made TV shows...
-
St. Pierre and Miquelon, Turks and Caicos....
But yeah, please go international next season(s).
-
They should visit YYZ International terminal then fly to London :)
-
Newfoundland
St. Johns, due for another leg.
Alberta
Red Deer
Manitoba:
Really anywhere, besides Winnipeg
Ontario:
St Catharines/Niagara Falls - full leg
London
Windsor
Barrie/Oro-Medonte
Collingwood/Blue Mountains
Timmins
NWT/Nunaut
Anywhere besides the capitals.
Resolute for Nunavut, but would be difficult to get too
