Also, Teams must drum up enough strength for an intense head-to-head battle before checking into the mat, on a double episode of The Amazing Race, Wednesday, at 9/8c. Only CBS

Had the chance to check out some of the places in the Kampala leg:
Uganda National Mosque - Also known as the Gaddafi Mosque, with Libya funding its construction. (Gaddafi was good friends with Idi Amin.) - The steps in the minaret are in flights of 8 steps, so counting 34 x 8 = 272 should have been really easy. - The 308 steps that Tyler/Korey found online included the bottom floor (i.e. from ground level to the terrace where they started).
Owino Market - The chapati stores don't belong in the soweto (cooked food) section of the market, where instead ladies stew some sort of meat and vegetable broth. - The chapati stands can be found a little further down the street, without the colourful signs seen on the show. They must have been brought over just for the filming. - Didn't see any clothes hung out to dry in or near the market. That wouldn't be too hygienic, eh?
Ggaba - This bit is authentic, there are indeed locals building ships, hauling timber, and salting fish!
Jahazi Pier - This, along with the Speke Resort (Pit Stop hotel) next door, are in an upscale part of town. - The pier's now broken and it doesn't look like they're trying to fix it.
